Grew up between poor and middle class, parents went through periods of having there shit together/ to not. So I'm somewhere in the middle. Have always worked, and earned my own shit.

Yup, it's like that here too.

Wages in Ireland are really crap.
So the whole idea of 'what class are you' I feel is really misunderstood by most people.

We are all Working Class in the original Marxist sense.
But society has stratified a lot more since.

It sucks doing tough jobs for crap money, yet these jobs do not have unions behind them , and that is where a lot of bad shit happens.

Unions take care of middle earning public service workers, and are not there for people who really need them.

Shit sucks.

I'm kinda hoping this night shift job will give me a call, because i'd be working for ten years at the job I have now or promoted, before I make this kinda money, but I'd be giving up my weekends.

If I had two jobs I'd sorta be making bread but im 'going'(more like being filtered) to school.

I am a lower working-class private sector worker and I have union representation. I have mixed feelings on collective public bargaining, but don't toss the baby out with the dishwater.

Class X, which is the class that is not impressed by other classes, doesn't care about upward class mobility, and shares similarities with the upper-upper class and proletariats. Typically, class X people are those who are artists, those living abroad, world travellers...we are immune to all the judgements of all the classes and for that we usually have a broad spectrums of friends, but mostly other class Xers.

BTW, Money has a little to do with class, but not that much.
For instance, there can be two guys making 80,000 a year, but
one guy would be clearly middle-middle and the other clearly low-prole.
Most famous musicians/Rappers are examples of lower class/proles with money.
A real upper class person wouldn't even give these people the time of day, no matter how much money they had.

Learn to cook with rice and beans and bulk  You can make SO many bulk amazing dishes for next to nothing. I learned how to do this last year in uni, working 3 jobs to pay for school and food.

White collar, educated, middle class.  Probably considered "upper middle" by the majority, but to me its relative.
