I was in my kitchen when the phone rang. As soon as it rang I knew in my head who it was, and where this person was for some strange reason. It was my mom on the phone just as I thought it was, and I knew she was at Home Depot! I would never have guessed Home Depot of all places I would usually guess she would be, so it struck me funny when she said she was at Home Depot.

On a couple occasions a phone was ringing in my house and I couldn't get to it in time to answer. I had no idea who called me because I don't have call display and I didn't use *69. I just guessed that it would be my friend and both times I called him and he said "How did you know I just called you? I thought you don't have call display?" It just 'felt' like he was the one who called.

na, seriously author actually makes a statment about knowing who's calling on the phone with out picking it up.

Now see this is a very easy one to test.

Everytime the phone rings, before you look to see who it is, or answer the phone. Say who you think it will be. Keep a journal. BUT BE HONEST!

This also happens fairly often so you should be able to get many chances to test. Then post it on here and we will see if it fits the curve. I bet it will.

I seriously doubt anyone will do this because the answer will be obvious and the magic will disappear.

If anyone does keep a log, make sure to put down the day of the week and the time.

I used to amaze a buddy who called before caller ID by picking up the phone and saying, "Hi Greg!" He was amazed but basically called once a week on a Saturday about 5PM. It was a "no-brainer".
