was it a cool mist?
whats the use for the fogger if you have a cool mist?
Do you need to take or silicone the joints for air tightness on the green house, or is it holding humidity?

Its the impeller humidifier that they happened to have.  I did not silicone the joints, the humidifier holds the humidity well, but is slower to build it up than I would like.  I want the fogger because it will make it easier to bring the RH back up faster after the fans change out the air in the greenhouse.  I will not be using or installing the fans until I have a fogger ready to go.

Also, I found that if I put the fogger in the coolmist, it really works well . Will fill your GH up with fog so dense you won,t be able to see inside it in a matter of minutes. I never used fans in any of my GH's and got complete FAE in 10 minutes .Don't make it harder than it needs to be:grin:

Also never used any additional lighting than what was in the ceiling fan in the room.and my results were , if I have to say so myself, quite good:wink:

Thanks for the tip!  I've always been a fan of K.I.S.S.

The lights were necessary for me.  The trailer I have has really crappy lighting.  The room I cultivate in has 3 light fixtures...1 of them works, but only puts out enough light to light up my work table.

Very nice setup! Greenhouses are cool as hell. Definitely a good look with that tape with those 3 florescents. What modifications were you thinking of making to that greenhouse once you've felt out conditions for the RH?

The only modifications I'm considering right now are the additions of a fogger, and a pair of computer fans.  I'm thinking it will work well as is, I'm just liking the idea of full automation since I'll be working full time again soon.

I know what you mean, man. I am fixing to move and transferring into a full time position from part time and I like the allure of automation.

It's the future...

In my experience the fogger and fans are over kill. One cool mist, one mini fan and a bunch of slits is as automated as it gets. turn it on and add water every few days... The foggers make it too wet too fast and the fans don't compensate well. It CAN work but not as efficient. I found the larger the g.h. the longer it stays humid on its own. Simple automation vs. over-compensation automation... I did the fogger in the cool mist too and that helps but coming from the biggest fogger fan, they are a pain in the ass, they look cool, but haven't been half as efficient.

Here's how i set up the same green house if you care to reference it. I can throw in cakes, trays, spawnbags, pitri dishes, poo bricks, cased/uncased ect.. and they fruit. I really hope whatever you choose will pull fat flushes off those bricks.
Good luck

P.s. Love the avatar. Capt Spalding was an inspiration of mine...

spawning to trashbags is much more efficient against side pins than tape, paint or anything else. the myc adheres to the plastic and prevents some moisture loss due to evaporation as well.

awesome grow, i'm looking forward to seeing the aa+

Okay, gotcha.  I didnt make it to biglots today, will go tomorrow.  Need to check and see if mine even has it.
how many standard tubs do you think that replaces?
That setup alone looks cheaper than equiv tubs.
Im so torn between a stack of monos or a gh.  Maybe ill just get one to play with.

I am going to use a Zoo Med HygroTherm Humidity & Temperature Controller:
http://www.amazon.com/Zoo-Med-HygroTherm-Temperature-Controller/dp/B0019IHK9Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1342065384&sr=8-1&keywords=zoo+med+hygrotherm.

Which is a combined thermostat and humididstat.  It has a humidity control range: 15% to 95% RH (Relative Humidity).

you guy's are really making this GH thing a lot more work, and expense, than it needs to be

2 75 watt bulbs in ceiling fan in room, coolmist running 24-7 with a fogger in the coolmist running 10 minutes every hour. 42 pounds wet mushrooms in a month

I know it's fun to play with gadgets, I'm quilty myself lol, but keep it cheap and simple. That GH set-up and running was $40:grin:
