damn:/ i still cease to find a single psychoactive mushroom-.-' i have been looking for psilocybe cyanescens and psilocybe semilanceata, along with various amanitas. i dont just look for "magic" mushrooms, i hunt mushrooms also because i find mycology beautiful.

Psilocybe cyanescens does not grow near you unless someone planted a patch. Liberty caps might, but they may only grow further north of you.
Which psilocybin mushrooms grow in my area?

i know that its unlikely for cyans to grow here, but ive heard reports of it. ive also heard a lot of liberty caps around here (i go between vermont and new hampshire all the time)

Perhaps Melanoleuca....If you have a microscope put some spores in iodine and see what they look like.

well thanks for the help everyone, and thanks for correcting me for future ID requests:) i decided to put it out for the slugs to finish eating. is it normal for there to be so many slugs eating all the fungus this year? i havent noticed them this much before. and theyve been eating all the fungi that ive been trying to photograph and find!

will the high amount of slugs (and snails as i forgot to mention) here where i am deplete their food supply and cause them to dye out some so the fungus ca grow more?
