Must see spores in the syringe for it to be viable?

I harvested 4 caps and put them in a jar to make a syringe to immediately innoculate another batch. I'm using a 20g needle, but when I pull in water, I can't see any little specks of purple from the prints - or maybe like 3 specks. Is this still okay? Spores are microscopic...so I'm thinking I should be able to still successfully inoculate my jars? Is a 20g pin too small?

I guess I'll also know in a few days since I already went ahead and did a few.

Spores are microscopic indeed.. if you see any spores, that means there are PLENTY of spores.. you could have Tons of spores in a syringe and not see them. Thats why there are said to be microscopic. hehe.... . its all good man.. 20 gauge will suck up spores no doubt.. Just make sure you hydrate your spores for atleast 24 hours before innoculating.. too soon and you might not get good germination... hope this helps.

It also is nice to add a suspension agent (jetdry) which is inert and keeps your spores from clumping. 1 drop per pint, is the norm.
