It's clear to me by the number of posts lately that the up-coming Dead tour has brought many past and future members of the community out of the woodwork! Well here's a place to post what shows you will be attending, set lists, and general information about the tour, venues, or on the Band! Much love my brothers and sisters! Shine on

Summerfest Red Rocks - undecided Joliet IL Somerset WI Indianapolis Columbus OH
Red Rocks will be a challenge, as for now I will be travelling alone. I am going to give it at least a try though. I would like to open an invitation to anyone who is around Michigan who does not have the vehicular means to go to any of these above mentioned shows to just send me a PM and perhaps the bus-tang will pick you up.

i wasn't at bonnaroo ripple, but i'm sure mickey did sing fire. he sure belted out an aiko ancore last night. the show was a lot of fun. they seem very well rehearsed. and i really enjoyed joan's presence and voice on stage. her musta been the roses was real nice. good sing-along. i'll paste sunshine's mini review here. she sums things up nicely:
The show was beautiful. Opening with "Jack Straw" jamming and the "Wheel" made me think this show is going in the right direction. While in line for beverages I couldn't tell what was playing, but I mentioned it sounded like Pink Floyd. I believe it was "Mason's Children." "Must have been the roses" was welcomed by all. I was thinking about how I would bypass that song on my CD when Jerry sang it, due to the speed he sang it at, but Joan gave it an interesting flare. "Shakedown" was played at very slow speed, but you have to sing to it no matter what and "Uncle Johns band" was a great sing along as well. Now "Reuben and Cherise", I personally thought it was done beautifully, but on my way out of the venue a young girl said she had to leave when she heard Joan singing it. Maybe I have more of an open mind and ear, but I do know a lot of girls have always felt uncomfortable with Donna as well. "Help/ Slip/ Franklins"/ what can you say. It was time to get down. Then the ancore with Mickey singing "Aiko". .............Beautiful........
