My Babies (Updated 6-27 w/ New Pics!)
    #1642611 - 06/18/03 03:10 PM (20 years, 9 months ago)

Here are some pictures I took of my Morning Glory and HBWR seedlings.  I'm so excited to watch them grow!

Peace,

RebelSteve

P.S.  Is that little hole on the one cotyledon of the HBWR seedling anything to worry about?  Just wonderin'...

the hole in the cotyledon is probably from a bug or a formation deformity. If it gets bigger or necrotic then i'd worry about it.

Hey, thanks for uploading the pics for me, neuro!  I appreciate the info, too... I assumed the hole was just from a bug or something.  Hopefully it won't get worse!

Peace,

RebelSteve

In the pic that shows both of them, the Morning Glory is on the left and the HBWR is on the right.  That clear things up?

I'm not exactly sure, but I think it has been between 3 and 4 weeks since I planted these guys.  Here's what they're lookin' like today:

(For those who might be confused, the first two pics are the morning glory and the second two are the HBWR.)

I'm fairly sure the hole in the one cotyledon of the HBWR is simply damage caused by the seed coat while sprouting.  The seedling seems to be doing fine despite the damage.

Peace,

RebelSteve

Looks good! My morning glories are coming in pretty well. What strain is it? Heavenly blue?

The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

I believe they're heavenly blues, but I'm not sure because the seeds were sent to me from a friend.  I guess I will find out when they bloom!

Also, to anyone who might know:

Is it normal for HBWR's to grow so slow?  It just seems to me that it has stayed pretty much the same size for quite some time now.  Could something be wrong?

My morning glory grew fast as hell. I swear it grew about a foot a week, but I couldn't tell you, I kinda forgot about it and didn't water it for a while, now its dead. Poo.
