Synthetic Filter Disks With Injector Port

Does anyone have experience using the injector ports sold at mycopath on synthetic disks? The website says it will work.
My concerns:
How well they stick to synthetic disks
Longevity after a few autoclave cycles
And, would plastic lids with injector port and filter port be a better option?
Link to self-adhesive injector ports

Or you could just buy a tube of silicone.
Drill 1/4" hole, or whatever, you don't want it too big though.
Blob silicone on top of hole.. Let dry somewhat.. Turn lid over, blob second glob of silicone.. Let dry.
Then you're all set as far as injections go. The injection ports may look prettier, but the silicone is equally effective and probably less expensive and easier to aquire.
Doesn't have to be the super heat resistant stuff.. Usually a regular tube of silicone (for bathrooms, ect..) will be okay up to 400 degrees F, which is way hotter than a PC at 15psi would ever get.
Check out the tek in my signature. They work great and are reusable.

That tek looks great. I was just hoping to use synthetic disks for the increase in air flow.

Is it possible to drill a 1/2" hole in a synthetic disk and use an HD injector port?

I am familiar with the conventional metal lid with holes drilled for GE and injection. I am curious if a synthetic disk is usable with injector ports.

Can I dab RTV directly on to a synthetic disk?

I used the hi-temp red stuff. Put a 1/16" bead around the hole and slapped the filter on top of that.
