The biggest problem with this sort of thing is that people dont really think abotu distinguishing a variety from other lower rankings. most of those are locations, not varieties, but then some locations are actaulyl different and could be considered a variety or a form.
for actual forms/variety they all have variegated, crested and monstrose. each of the 4 main species except i personally never saw a crested koehresii yet.
there are locales that would be considered varieties or forms, maybe sub-species, but im not the person to ask about that.

Huizache, hundido, soledad, decipiens or caesipitose? Which has best trip? Highest mescaline? And what is best size/age?

Congratulations you just brought a 6 year old thread back from the dead for no reason... Welcome to the shroomery! Next time make sure you don't do that, it's frowned upon.

I'm sure it was a mistake, he is new and that stuff happens. When you are on the main Ethnobotanical page in the top right corner it says "post" you just click that and go from there. Welcome.

There are a few ways Lophs seem to be categorized and it can be a little confusing, partially because some of the naming is old.
Often indeed they are locales and it is just where they were found. To me it's vague what warrants calling one a variety, so I am fine with any extra details given working as a variety, but it may be pointless differentiation.
The forms seem to be divided up in for example caespitose for clustering / heavily pupping and decipiens is a form that doesn't really seem to have ribs but rather 'bumps' apparently. Then there is pentacosta which has 5 ribs and pluricostata has (many) more ribs, and for some reason Texan ones seem to have been given a category but I don't understand.
AFAIK a certain specimen can both have a locality label and rib number/pattern label at the same time.
Certain other species might be certain kinds of hybrids.
