It's a trip you'll never forget!

When I got mine I sterilized and inoculated the same day I got them. With in 3 days there were signs of mycelum growth it has now been about a week and they are about half way fully colonized maybe a little less.

However, I have not kept my temps steady it has been warm here so I have kept the windows open. During the day where I keep the cakes it gets around 85 to 95 and at night it probally gets 65 to 75 maybe a little higher (I keep then in a cabinet above my fridge and it warms the cabinet a little) I allowed the temps to fluxuate because I fifgured this is the way they grew in nature and mother nature is the best mycoligist I know of (there are also a lot of realy good ones at the shroomery too though)

I can realy only think of 3 things that could be wrong:

1) bad syringes
2) the mixture of your substrate
3) the amount of moisture in the jars

This batch I am growing now is only my fisrt so take this information as you will. There are alot of other growers here that have been at it a lot longer.

my sugestion is let the jars be for a while longer (they aren contaminated it doesnt sound like so it wont hurt) If you have more jars try another batch (double check and make sure your substrate is correct (I used brown rice flower and vermiculite)

3/4 cup ver.
1/4 cup brown rice flower (ground fresh)
1/4 cup water
