Should the PC really hiss??

Hey afoaf has this Mirror pc and hes having a hard time knowing if this is the problem. its a new one from walmart and it doesnt reall hiss. i see steam yeah but he had no hiss.

Is a low boil right or ?

COuldnt he just use any pot with a weight on top of it and a lifter for the jars of some sort. ? and Cook for and hour right? isnt that the pomans set up that works.?
any help is great.

some do,I know mine dose it hisses to let me know it is up to presure.
what you should do is read your presure cooker guide that came with it because nobody can really tell you about your presure cooker because alot of them are different

but if you HAVE TO boiling works , I had 4 jars work great with boiling and 8 all fucked up from PC which I know is not the "norM" but hey it works

If you're just doing PF style jars, you'll be okay with boiling... Grain you will need to use a PC.

I have never had success with boiling jars, theyre almost always prone to contamination. Personally i would never waste spores on jars that have been boiled. You might as well jst throw the spores in the trash if thats what you plan on doing with them. You can get pressure cookers pretty cheap on ebay, id suggest checking it out.
