yeknoM A mA I
    #1641168 - 06/18/03 01:47 AM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Have you ever stared at yourself in the mirror and suddenly thought, "I am a monkey!" and then felt happy and smiled?  Cuz I have thought that to myself a few times, and I just wondered if anybody else had.

Tonight, though, I was lookin' in the mirror and instead of just thinking it to myself, I actually realized that I AM a monkey.  And that made me reaallly happy!

Is this weird?

I suppose it's the connection with your animal self you're feeling.

Monkey's are HARDLY what you should be worrying about, good sir. CATS are the problem. Did you know that one cat has enough brainmass to strangle a moose? Think about it.

You think the monkey thing is weird? Is it? Or am I?

"Gentlemen," he said, "why does Pickering's Moon go about in reverse orbit? Gentlemen, there are nipples on your chests; do you give milk? And what, pray tell, Gentlemen, is to be done about Heisenberg's Law?" He paused. "SOMEBODY HAD TO PUT ALL OF THIS CONFUSION HERE!"

I think about it a whole lot - we're animals!

what EGOS we've obtained with all this drama and restlessness. Anybody with a computer is most certainly at least a bit caught up in this collective superiority complex, whether or not we ARE superior.

we can learn a lot about ourselves by watching the discovery channel and "nature" stuff like that - I don't normally like television but some of those shows are awesome

My cat's seem to plot stratigically against me in silly bouts of completely random kaok.  Did you know that cats are one of the very few other animals with a middle section to their brains??? :P

Actually - I just realized they sit there and watch seemingly invisible things around the room all of the time.  All together watching the same seemingly invisible object!

Yes I have! LOL!

Clever title!

--------------------
The very nature of experience is ineffable; it transcends cognitive thought and intellectualized analysis. To be without experience is to be without an emotional knowledge of what the experience translates into. The desire for the understanding of what life is made of is the motivation that drives us all. Without it, in fear of the experiences what life can hold is among the greatest contradictions; to live in fear of death while not being alive.

...Actually, you know, most men can be induced to give milk throughthe use of certain drugs or even simple repeated physical stimulation.

that's a ridiculous statement. just because we experience confusion, doesn't mean somebody "put" confusion here.

But have you ever looked in the mirror after a few days of being "out" and wondered, how come monkeys have hair all over their bodies....but don't get beards?!

oh yeah, whilst trippping I often feel as if our monkey-like situation is almost too funny to keep from bursting out laughing and jumping on tables all monkey style.  Sometimes it is too much...
