my bonnaroo experience was incredible. we drove overnight from okie to tennesee and got right into the campsite at about 9:30 in the morning. we were camped way at the back in Alabama something or other which sucked being so far away, but our bathrooms were way cleaner, there were showers back there that some farmer had set up, and it was much quieter than say the camp next to shakedown st. they guys next us were all cool. i didn't meet one person there i didn't like. the guy two tents down was grower of the green and had tons of bubblefunk headies and bubble hash. he taught me how to take a bowl of bubblefunk with hash on top lit with a torch down in one hit. basically, this dude knew what was up. I took to many puerto ricans for the widespread show and freaked out when i saw the "globe of death". got some cats blotter, bhudda blotter, and fractal paper. the best was the fractal. i ate three hits for the dead show and got right in the front row. I had to wait all sunday but it was worth it being so close. Im not sure if the dead played good or not. i think space was a little much but i was to messed up to really know. i saw everybody i wanted to and did to many drugs but i made it out alive and would do it all again if i get the chance. i met LTBoomer and EmBreO. both were cool, lt had some long ass hair and seventies style glasses which was pretty funny. i had hopes to meet more but i didn't bother with the centeroo crowd too much so i only went over there once. i hope everybody had a great time.

Shit I must of missed this post. I wish I could of meet up with some of you guys from here but my friends and I were on a group trip and they didn't trust my internet instincts so I just stayed with them. I got into the grounds with no trouble Thursday Morning at like 1:30 am. We ended up in Camp Poodlecut with some pretty nice people all around us. I got hooked up with Buddha and Fractals instantly then I met a guy selling some love in fungus form from Washington and they were GREAT. Alot of kids were trying to get rich off the doses and that started to piss me off. Our crew got hooked up with 75 hits for 170$, which was more than we wanted to pay but after a few walks thru woodland avenue and camp poodlecut I was glad to find kind souls selling them for that cheap. The fungus was from a brother we met in Missouri at a rest stop and he hooked up a fat 1/8th for 15$. On thursday we ran into some of that Bubble hash from a Be Good Family kid and the stuff could knock down a horse.
Enough about the Drugs next I talk about the music, but that is Later.

Unfortunatly I think I met Fast Eddie, was he there? I think people where calling this really annoying drunken man by that name and I've heard of him before. They were trying to cut him off and he wasn't taking it very well. He and his 'friends' where a little to close to my camp for my comfort. Jesus some people have problems.

Yes fast Ed was there.Thats the wrecking crew. There A campers. Fast Eddie(or Fed Ed) has been around a long time. Notice how nobody but his crew friends talk to him. In the 80's he was busted all the time with large quanity's of acid. Always got off, but the people he worked for went to jail.Hmmm. Now he's an alcoholic asshole. He is a legend though ,and the butt of many jokes. I wouldn't normaly talk about someone from tour ,but his picture is probably in the DEA hall of fame.

Them goofballs where about 70 yards from my camp and right on the road so I always had to walk by them, every fucking time Ed had something real intelligent to say I like how the have a god damn bar set up in there tent and thats it, he's the one with the really raspy drunk voice then huh?
He pushed right thru my friends and I on Sunday at the show and said " I'm going to start a Fight" . Luckily I think he only left his bar on Sunday.

hahahhaha, yes. I don't think he took it off except to wipe off all the writing he had on him. I seen him passed out once with writing all over him beside some other dude with a sign on him that said unemployed pornstar. Both passed out with a big bottle of vodka laying on the ground and some other drunks hovered over the bar.

We camped by a blue chevy extended cab with a Bob Marley flag on the antenna. I wore a Erowid T-shirt along with a blue Phish shirt with UFO's on it most of the time, if I had one on at all that is. Usually had a back pack on to.

This years Bonnaroo was definetly easier living. i came alot more prepared (solar showers, and lotsa gatorades)plus the heat wasn't intense the entire time. The port-o-lets were cleaned like fucking constantly so they were actually useable the whole time and didn't smell nauseating. I saw every band i wanted to see except for the wailers and the allman brothers (i missed the allmans cuz it was really hot right while they were playing)But it was great that thursday night they had bands playing so the party really was like 4 days! The machines (pink floyd cover band) were playing another break in the wall, and there was another band of all black dudes playing like every horn instrument. but the 3 nights all just rolled into one. Jack Johnson and G.love busted out rodeo clowns, then the next day G.love put on an awesome show because he always involves the situation into his raps like as much as possible. rapping about bonnaroo and all the peeps and what not. keller williams freeker by the speaker was phenominal, then at the end he was having such a good time that he came back and started just making up a song to go along with this jamming ass bass rift, something like "novelty song" or "focus on the bass", it should be on kazaa soon enough. Widespread put on one of the best shows i've seen out of about 35 or so shows mainly in the southeast.(going to red rocks for three nights for wsp in like 1 week)And The Dead were great, its weird though because now i've seen like every form of the Greatful Dead. First i saw Phil and Friends in NYC at theBeacon Theatre, then i saw Phil and Bobby last year and bonnaroo, then this year its The Dead. But enough rambling. late
