I went out last night, and didn't find much on the horse dung, but i didid find alot of small shrooms of some kind, when i say small i mean real small, but they bruised blue, and were probably the total size of a basketball air needle including the screw in part. I decided not to eat them though, Iam thinking of going back to collect the dung so i can grow them bigger to see if they are cubes.aight layta.

wow, Panaeolus looks really wierd when growing out of shavings. almost like they were cut and pasted onto the picture. that looks really cool.
a local horse farm has a ton of these shaving spread in an area. a lot of grass is found growing through them and maybe a bit of horse dung. a lot of pans and mycenas grew in that area in the spring.
man its pouring outside.

What they fuck ever, man, why do I always get picked on? Why are my finds so unbelieveable? I swear to god that picture is not messed with at al!!!! Do I need to zoom in on the actual rhizomorphs and spore deposits on the wood shavings to prove these mushrooms are really growing there??? Come on man, like I care that much that I'd edit my pics to lie to you? I swear on the entire earth and everything on it those pics are 100% original. Its people like you that make me wish I had never came to the shroomery 5 years ago, never shared weilii with any of you, or my new species, or took so many people from these boards to my patches(who I now catch in my patch picking without permission), gave them free mushrooms and helped them find their own patches. Why do I help and share so much with people who call me a liar? Sometimes I forget why. You people amaze me. LK,

Lizard King,
I have been in a pasture where the farmer made dozens of little 'beds' for the cows with woodchips almost like what you have there in your pictures.
The farmer was cool enough to lay the beds of woodchips convieniently located along the tree line. Probably so the cows and the shrooms could have the shade they need to be happy.
The Cubensis made a mycelial mat through the bed -a lot of the beds were infested with other species too.
Nothing like what you have shown in those pictures though. -It wasn't as hairy looking as in your pictures, but i have seen it happen.
It is not that people don't believe your finds, It is that your finds themselves are unbelieveable. You are an incredibly lucky bastard.

Hey calm down there champ, he was just saying the pans look amazing growing outta wood chips. Reread his post and I'm sure you will see what he really meant.. hint: It wasn't meant to be offensive, quite obviously

Thats not the way I read it, I took it as sarcasim. Maybe I was wrong and if so I apologize, but I have been called a liar so many times since my return here, I have about had it. Every goddamn picture I post someone calls it bullshit.
I am also a bit on edge because I have caught 5 different people in the past 3 months picking in my patches without permission, people who frequent these boards and who shall remain nameless for the time being. I always tell anyone who I take to my patches if you want to pick, just give me a call, all I want is pics and a few nice caps to print, I don;t really consume much of my finds anymore, so the mushrooms don't mean much to me in that aspect. If I am too busy to pick I give permission to pick my patch anyways since I generally trust who I show my patch to to pick responsibly. Yet they still find a reason to go behind my back and steal from my patch.
Anyways, if I have over-reacted, I am 100% sincerly sorry, and please don't take my words personal, magmamanic. If its the other way around, then screw you and the horse you rode in on.

I for one do not think you ovr reacted. There are as you know, creeps and idiots who frequent these boards.
I too have bitched about people who I took or people who followed me around and then come into my private patches, klike at friends homes who let me seed their garden with P. cyanescens. And then they sneak back and steal your crop.
When I take people I meet, whether from the shroomery or just meet, every year a few of them go back and rip me off.
As I noted in orther posts, I take a few people every year. When I do I always give them a special place they can return to on their own with no problem and then I ask them not to go here or there. And I do not always take e eryone to all of my patches.
Yet they still find a way to go back when I am not there.
Like LK, I have seen some of these assholes who did so.
Like when i went to thailand last fall and took someone picking right before I left. While in Thaialnd this person from Bellevue posted some images of the lawns I took him to, mentioning that I took him there and actually posted the name fo the street where this patch of P. stuntzii's where.
After he went there several times, the managers of the apratment complex issued warning posters that pickers would be watched and police would be called.
So Hey everyone. Try to give LK some respect. He does not doctort his pictures and he knowns what he is picking.
and to sit here and say he doctored his photos or they are fake is an asshole thing to do with someone who spends his valuable time posting here information for all of you.
