You have no idea how tempted I was to post goatse.
-------------------- "I have no way of knowing whether you, who eventually will read this record, like stories or not. If you do not, no doubt you have turned these pages without attention. I confess that I love them. Indeed, it often seems to me that of all the good things in the world, the only ones humanity can claim for itself are stories and music; the rest, mercy, beauty, sleep, clean water and hot food (as the Ascian would have said) are all the work of the Increate. Thus, stories are small things indeed in the scheme of the universe, but it is hard not to love best what is our own—hard for me, at least."

yeah i like qwerky kind of art similar to those paintings, or the image CJ-b posted. i almost find myself analyzing the whole image and trying to 'read' the story behind it, and trying to connect the dots in the image. try to 'understand' the image sort of thing ya know? that cliche phrase " a picture tells a thousand words " comes to mind.

In that case...

that was fucking sick man!!! i wish i could draw shit like that. that would be like unlimited entertainment to be able to draw that well. but i love that style of chaotic artwork with alot going on in the image. it's more depicting a scene or a theme rather then just a single object or something. really awesome. and all just black and grey too. black and grey has always been my preferred style of art too. theres just something about it.

I can't imagine spending 2 months on just one drawing...(or drawing at all since I'm awful at it) but this guy did and damn if it didn't turn out amazing.

oh damn it took him 2 months to do all of that?? i wouldn't have the patience for that. it's still great though. i wonder where he got the inspiration to draw all of that. i mean sure he would have obviously had his concept of putting the " jesus butterfly monkey" in the centre of a planet/ring thing with eyeballs all around it. but i mean, how he fills in all the gaps and dead space with just all kinds of different things.
heres some similar black and grey stuff, mostly just sketch work but still good:

you kind of have to save them to your comp and zoom in on them to see the detail better.

They seem rather...bleak. I like them.

I think birds react the same way as fish in that they have a collective feel of which direction to go...it basically proves that energy is another sense...just one humans aren't quite in touch with

The way the fish are patterned it looks like a magnetic field.

yeah but flocks of birds do it constantly...in migration...fish and birds do it for food regularly and protection...we tend to hold independency or very small groups
