For any trane fans/jazz fiends like myself
My FAVORITE version of "My favorite things", simply stellar by none other than Trane. The ending kills it
Some live trane footage, lotta songs, lotta listening material
"Spirit Lake" by Ralph Towner
"Icarus" by Oregon

This tune is absolutely AMAZING.
Kurt Rosenwinkel - Chords (Live)
Aaron Goldberg's solo just kills. He takes you on an epic journey. Eric Hardland is my second favourite drummer after Brian Blade, and of course Kurt and Mark Turner are unreal as always.

For anyone interested, heres a church in my old hood that calls themselves the St John Coltrane African Orthodox Church. Heres their mission statement: http://www.coltranechurch.org/mission2011.html
Out of This World by Trane, you know what youre partaking of with the title
Love by Trane, apparently this cd is very good, about to get it

I think Out Of This World is a Johnny Mercer tune. Trane loved to take old tunes and make his own standards.

Do you know Kurt Rosenwinkel starfire? Listen to the tune I posted, I promise you'll be blown away. He's a guitar player BTW.

I think I have every album (at least in mp3) that John Mclaughlin was ever on. His acoustic stuff is sick.
Miles Davis' "Blue In Green" done by JM on a classical guitar. Absolutely sick.
