Yeah, you don't have to be as careful as some think. I was cutting some the other day, and a guy was like ' I can't believe you're just holding it like that.'. It doesn't do anything from my experience.

I've never even heard of that handling blotter with gloves thing, its definitely safe to handle papers
Cops here would never do that, I'd say its a TV thing, maybe it happened way back in the past but I doubt it today

I thought the whole point of handling the blotter carefully was not so that you don't get effects, but so that the LSD doesn't rub off on your fingers and get lost. Am I wrong?

I know someone in 74, had one-hundred square sheets of Mr. Natural. ( one square == 55ug, one 'man' == 220ug) handled his sheets with sweaty hands and freaked out.

Right, but I was under the impression that if you had sweaty or oily hands(even just a little sweaty or oily) it could make a difference in the potency of the tab. It makes sense to me considering how small the dose is, but I don't know if it is true or not. I always handle my tabs with the upmost care and attention regardless, that chemical is just too damn good to risk it!

Yea, the guy I know handled the sheets, but I guarantee you it didnt affect potency much, I did one 'man' and it was a fucking screwball trip, goddamn that shit was strong. 220ug comes from sources online, including erowids fact sheet.

See, I don't know how both of these can add up. If he 'freaked out' from handling the tabs, I'm sure it had to of messed with the potency a little bit. He obviously ingested a little bit of it.

I've seen it happen to a friend before, just mild but there was no hiding it haha. I'm not saying that the ********* county drug task force was tripping balls trying to get my evidence to lock up, I'm just saying I thought it was fucking hilarious that they bust in with hazmat suits to pick my PE but then fondle my blotter bare handed and talk amongst themselves like its the funniest thing in the world.

The most hilarious story I've heard of a cop doing this comes from a guy who used to sell me some fire Mr. Nice.
He was driving through some eastern state when he got pulled over.
His friend in the back was terrified clutching a binder to his chest. Inside of the binder was a bunch of blank paper. The top sheet of paper was an entire page of WOW.
Now the cop shines his flashlight on the guy and instantly smells his fear
"ok let me see it"
he gets the binder, opens it up.. Then he licks his finger, runs it straight down the entire sheet. He put his finger in his mouth and then almost instantly throws up, then books it into the woods moaning.
this guy waits a few minutes with the squad car behind him with lights flashing, the cop doesn't come back so he just drives off.

They don't do taste tests like in the movies.
They do reagent tests as field tests. Drop a little of the suspected powder in the bag, break the capsule and it turns different colors in the presence of coke/speed/heroin/whatever.
