Trichocereus Bridgessi
    #1980340 - 10/05/03 12:10 AM (20 years, 5 months ago)

I've heard of this species on quite a few instances, but I'm not really that familiar with it. I have, however, heard that some believe it to be more potent than San Pedro. I don't know how valid this is though, which is why I'm making this post. I haven't been able to find very much useful information on the web and I was wondering if anyone had any information on this particular species. Anyone know how it holds up as far as potency goes in comparison to the other trichs? Or maybe it's rate of growth? Thanks for all you're help.

Peace and Much Love

Pretty much the same growing patterna as T.Pachanoi but with a longer spines.
Potency said to be the same or allmost as with T. Pachanoi

Peace..

I believe it grows faster, but IMO I doubt its more potent.

Yeah I was kind of skeptical of it being more potent also...but one can always hope. Anyone have any links to sites containing good information on the bridgessis?

they have a different chemical profile than san pedro.

from my understanding bridgesii have some maoi properties about them - as does san pedro but to a lesser extent I believe.

Peruvian torch cacti are high in predominately mesc. but lacking in some of the other phens and moai like alks in the Pedro/Achuma.

I have a Bridgesii, Peruvian Torch and a few Pachanois... This Bridgesii grows the slowest. I've yet to brew it, though.

PS spines are HUGE. Mines pretty young (about 2 foot with a 1 foot pup) and the spines nearer the base are about 3-4 inches.

Felix has been around recently actually. He logged in for the first time in several years a couple of weeks ago.
