vermiculite coarseness.

HOw big of an issue is the size of the vermiculite. Pf-tek seemed to look down upon the coarse grade. and all their pictures have the really small grade.

I didnt like the super fine.. I like that better for casing.

I prefer course grade. The mycelium fills the pockets made by course vermiculite well.

It seems to be a matter of preference really. If you are following the PF tek, try to follow it verbatim.

I've heard that a finner grade holds more moisture, (ture or not....?)After trying both I myself prefer the more course.
like Ainasko said Pockets. The fine grade packs in to well.
