fuzzy on pressure cooker

I looked around in the faq's and some past posts and couldn't find exactly how long the jars should be in and how much water should be in the cooker. it said it is set at 15 psi and can't be ajusted but I guess that's ok since it seems the desired pressure. IT only fits three jars but I big problems with contams so I figured it was still worth it to do in small batches. any one have any thoughts. IT's kirby and allen brand and it said nothing about canning in the instructions so I wasn't sure. thanks.

15 PSI for 50 minutes to an hour is about right.

Make sure you place the jars on the jar tray that should have been included with your PC.

there was no tray included. Would a washcloth suffice?

I know some people put autoclave bags inside pillow cases so I guess a washcloth would work.

Try stacking unused jar lids on the bottom if you don't want to use a washcloth.

Also, don't forget to leave an inch or so of water at the bottom.
