NEED ANSWER NOW - URGENT!

It is now 2pm. My parents are back at 6 or 7 pm. THIS IS MY CHANCE TO TRIP. I didn't have much sleep last night, nor am I in ideal tripping mood, but I just want to take advantage of this golden oppurtunity. I think i'll drink like one gram tea or less, what do you think? BTW, I'm by myself in the country, so if i get lonesome ill have to walk an hour into town, and only on the assumption ill run into my friends (wihch might not happen). TELL ME NOW WHAT I MUST DO

If its only one gram in tea, then you might just get a little buzzing effect.  On the other hand, it doesn't sound like the greatest time to trip when you're tired or not in a 'trip mood'.  I've always been a fan of carpe diem, but not at the expense someones health.  :smile:  Its completely up to you.  If I were living with my parents however and in your situation, I'd probably go for it.  Just be safe.  :smile:

It wouldnt even matter because you wouldnt trip on that dose. But if you were going to trip it would be a bad idea because you'd still be twisted when they got home.

I did it. It wasn't that great cuz i made tea, so it hit hard and disappeared abruptly. too late...all the rest of shrooms are in powder form already.

and yes, it was weird talkin to my parents aferward. and being alone sucked, i have a habit of questioning my own sanity, which is enforced because everyone thinks im crazy anyway (i assume)

everyone has different tolerances..but generally 1 gram is too little I agree

I am currently preparing myself to eat 3 dried grams for my first trip.  As I have more then a month until this happens, I want to be mentally ready for anything that occurs.  I don't know what eating 4 would be like though...maybe scary? :smile:

Who cares if they were powdered or not it doesn't matter much. A gram is a gram, a unit of measuring weight, not volume.

You MUST do what is best for yourself and not worry what anyone else here says. You just said you're not in the mood to trip...so DON'T. Why waste a dose that would be more enjoyable at another point in time? In my experience...dosing when you're not in the mood doesn't make for a good trip.

It would be trippy.

What do you want us to say? Everyone trips differently. You can dose the same amount of mush from the same flush and still get different trips each time. Do some reading at the trip report area of shroomery...it'll give you good ideas as to what other people experience at that dose.

The worst thing you can do with any psychedelic experience is to go in expecting anything in particular. Just dose your shrooms and enjoy what you experience. If you're at all worried about taking more than you can handle, then DON'T take that much.

This is not rocket science...informed decisions are easier to make than mistakes.

Powdering them before ingestion makes the trip come on more quickly and strongly, but it also decreases the length of the trip.

So yes, it makes a difference.

I've never noticed this to be true.  When I first started growing/tripping I always dosed powder in capsules and my trips lasted just as long as when I just chomped on the dried shrooms by themselves.  Also, shroom powder can clump up in your stomach (much like cocoa powder does when you mix it with hot water) and can actually cause the trip to not start for several hours.  That happened to me on my second shroom trip.  I thought I had a tolerance, but it just took several hours for the powder to fully dissolve and digest.

It was because it takes longer for the capsule to spill their contents. Ive had the same problem but if you try powder without capsule you will definately see the difference.

I'd be apt to agree with you if each time I dosed powder in caps that it took 3 hours to start tripping...but with that one time as the exception, any trip I took with powder in caps it only took 30 minutes to an hour to start tripping...
