mike, go to www.fanaticus.com and read everything they have to say. then follow it to the letter. this wil help you get a feel for how to grow shrooms. everytime someone has messed up their first time it's because they didn't follow it exactly. learn to crawl before you walk before you run.

Mikey, Joe Bong is giving you solid advice. I think you are using the MMGG, so use that and follow it pretty close, if not exactly. Doing this will greatly increase your success rate as a first-timer. Don't confuse yourself with other add-on teks or people's random ideas on the Shroomery. After you have grown a few cakes, then you may want to fuck around with them.
