Discus why you got one or why you don't have one. Also, how much did you pay?

I am currently getting one, going to the post office Saturday.

I have one that expired, got to renew it.  I used it for work and pleasure, went to China, Hong Kong, taiwan, japan, and the Philippines on it.

Don't remember the cost, in 2002, it was like $75 to renew.

I just recently got mine for a job.
I spent close to $250, got the expedited process and had it within 2 weeks of filing for it.
I've yet to use it, but I fly to alaska tomorrow and I may be crossing into canada so it may get used.

I got one when I planned to go abroad for school. I never did so I can't comment on getting a visa but just the passport cost me $60.

I used to use it all the time as ID. One store in the boondocks wouldn't sell me cigarettes because I "didn't have a valid state ID". I told them this federal ID will get me back into the country but I cannot buy smokes with it?

I went to the Pakistani owned store across the street and bought my cigarettes.

I've had two.  One to go to Australia then lost it.  Then I got another one to go to Thailand/Cambodia, still have that one but its probably close to expired.  I think they were between $60-$80 when I got them.

I have one.  I use it to travel internationally.

My recollection is that it was really cheap.  Like $20 or so but I may be mistaken.

Not having a passport isnt very smart.

Suppose Yellowstone Park starts rising a meter a week. Wouldnt you be happy as hell that you can hop on a plane to Europe or Down Under?

Getting my photo taken and submitting the papers tomorrow. It's going to cost me $180 plus whatever a money order cost.

i have two actually. the regular is from when i spent a week in costa rica for my honeymoon, and the other is when lived overseas in support of my ex wife's career. they're both almost the same, but the special one was to show that i was in greece on government orders for the ex wife job gig. i never ended up getting it back to her after the divorce. i can't use it anymore anyway. the one that counts is still good.

i don't recall what i paid for either. i'm pretty sure i didn't pay anything for the government one aside from whatever the photo was. i don't think passports are expensive.

I want one but it's not in the funds right now.

In about a year I'm going to apply for a Capital one milage rewards credit card, and start racking up miles, so in a few years I can take my family on vacation. My wife want's to see Italy, and I wouldn't mind seeing Italy as well.

But here Italians are a bunch of pick pocketers to the tourists.

In due time.
