found this 6 minute radio interview.
Magic Mushroom Facts , Hallucinogen Health Warning (Audio in RealMedia format )
Magic Mushroom Facts Presenter: Genine Unsworth
Wednesday, 3 July 2002
A trip of a lifetime. Magic Mushrooms could be the last trip you take.
Fungi are flourishing in the South West bush in Western Australia. And it is at this time of the year, that many people take their annual trip down south to pick magic mushrooms.
Also out in force are the police, as picking, selling or using the hallucinogen is illegal. Trippers who drive under the affect don't just pose a danger to themselves, but also to other road users.

Bev Morton is with the Community Drug Service Team based in Bunbury. She and her colleagues have seen many people suffering the effects of the mushrooms.

Thanks for posting that great audio file. I wish there was more of them. I just wonder how people get qualified in the so called, "field of magic mushrooms" without actually seeing them. And then go to say that a commom way of using them is by smoking them. Thanks.. for the very intersting post

a commom way of using them is by smoking them. You can also put them between your toes. Neither of these methods will work of course.
But I have known people to smoke them.

So do people who drive under the influence of alcohol. I'm sure people realise that driving under the influence of drugs isn't too wise. Like I'm going to attempt to drive when my ego is being shattered into a thousand pieces.

Care is needed with every drug. I don't think there's one drug in the world where people haven't seen to be suffering the ill effects of using it. People can ruin their livers with aspirin for fucks sake. Kids end up in hospital with alcoholic poisoning, liver damage from years of heavy drinking. Hell, I've seen people suffer from just being alive. Depression, mental illnesses, despair, loneliness, sadness, etc.
Life could be the last trip you take! Beware.....
