How come I cant colonize anything but B+

I have no problem colonizing Grain with B+ but I cant seem to get any other strains to start.

I have tried Penis Envy, Thailand and Mexican Strains with no luck.

All B+ are groing fine, all others.............nothing

Enlighten me

Could be any number of things.

How were your syringes stored?

Are they from a reliable source?

Did you see no growth at all?

Could there be a problem with your preparation?

It's been three weeks for the PE Strain.
It's only been five days for the Mex and Tai but the B+ are already showing signs.

All spores from reliable sources.

All Preparation are the same for B+ and other strains.

B+ is growing
Others not.

I am now using Grain with Tyvek filters and foam in the top holes.

Fourth Batch now, all B+ works and they are not from the same suppliers.

WEIRD

If all conditions and preparation are identical, without a doubt, I'd have to question the spores.

Thanks for the Input Oksania!

I used four or five diffrent suppliers in the beginning so it would be an incredible coincidence if only B+ grew and the others didnt.

I'll keep trying diffrent strains.

you know i've had the same problem and i know the spore are good cause i innoculated grain and some MEA petri's from the same syringe.The petri's took off and the grain did nodda. Damn i can't seem to get the hang of that stuff.
