Are you an ounce counting Ultra light kinda person? Or are you like me and prefer to pack the kitchen sink?
My parents just surprise hooked me up with a new pack for getting good grades and just not being a "fuck-up" in general. I got an REI Mars 80L (4,800 cu. in). I'm going to packing all sorts of random comforts in this baby. I'm even thinking about bringing a full sized pillow on my 80+ mile trip, just for the extra comfort.

I'm pretty sure my mum has the same one haha. When it was full it was so dam heavy. I have a similar style but next time I go over seas, I wanna downsize a bit. I hate having to carry so much.
What do you take with you when you travel?
I think I'm just gonna buy a super light but warm jacket and pack as little other clothes as possible to keep weight down.

well this is an extended stay pack. It's intended for stays of 7-14 days without resupply in the wilderness. I have to carry changes of close, a full bearkeg, a lot of propaine, jackets for high sierra weather, rope, my small hookah, sandals, but that is basically it. I do also tend to go backpacking with my girlfriend and in that case I need to carry a lot of stuff so it's always nice to have a giant pack. I could buckle this thing down to the size of a 40L quite easily

I'm a "kitchen sink" kinda guy. I have a Gregory 'Shasta'. Its a discontinued model (I've had mine since the 90s). Its about 5000 cu in. When fully loaded for a 2 week excursion I can run over 40 pounds pretty easily. But that pack has never once caused me discomfort, even loaded that heavy. I tried a few other packs before it and never was as comfortable with even half that much weight. Some guys really get into the whole lightweight thing but I like to pack along all my extra shit. Carrying the weight was always a fair trade off to have my amenities at camp that evening.
Here it is loaded after a week in the Grand Canyon. We had just arrived back at the rim on our last morning when my buddy snapped this pic.

 I love getting to camp with many pairs of socks, my hookah, plenty of extra food and any extra's that pop into my head. 5k cubic inches is a lot man.
edit: just saw this picture man that backpack is a tank! You could fit a trio of 7 year olds in that thing!

And just as a sidenote- comfort during a trip is the most important thing. To some guys this means carrying almost no weight, but to me it means carrying the extra weight comfortably and having everything I want with me. A backpack is the second most important item, only your boots will have a bigger impact on you and your enjoyment.
I always stack it up like this when it come to order of importance on a long trip...
1- Boots/Footwear...never skimp here! If your feet hurt the rest of the trip will suck.
2- Backpack...not as important as boots, but again, hurting while hiking will ruin the trip.
3- Sleeping Gear...if you don't get a good nights sleep then it doesn't matter how comfortable you are during the day.
Beyond that most things don't matter much. As long as you are comfortable and eat well a trip will be a success every time.

Couldn't of said it better myself I actually learned all three of these the hard way and paid for it by mother Sierra handing me my ass on a platter. Was quite the experience.

I remember buying cheap boots and having the damn things fall apart on me in the middle of a trip. How I wish I wouldn't have paid attention to price tags at that point!!

Ouch! boots falling apart on the trail, talk about a shitty situation. I forgot my boots one time and got 200 miles from my house to realize I only had on skate shoes. Was not fun. first time backpacking up in Mineral king at 12,000 feet I brought a fucking 45-50 degree rated camping sleeping bag. Worst decision of my life. There is not a more a helpless feeling in the world than that of being freezing in your sleeping bag at 11pm knowing it's only going to get colder for 8 more hours.

rei, 5000 ci of space, its seen the grand canyon, the sequoias, joshua tree, mt whitney, and some others that are escaping me.
ive had this pack for over 10 years and it still a champ.

just treat it like its your kid. but u already knew that.
another cliche thing to bring is a few hundred feet of 550 paracord. its always handy as shit for repairs and other things of that nature.. specially sense you will be hanging your food bags

actually we will all be carrying bear kegs, they don't allow you to hang your food in most of the area's we are going through. But yes, I always bring >100 feet of small, but strong rope. We never know why we will need it when we take off but we always end up needing it somehow.

I'm kind of an ounce-counting bring only the essentials lightweight gear kinda guy while still bringing some luxuries and comforts
Didn't feel like taking a pic but here's what my pack looks like,
Granite Gear Nimbus Meridian. I fucking love it.
3,800 CI, only weighs 3lbs 8oz. EASILY carries 40+lbs of gear that feels like air on your back, the suspension system is amazing. but I tend to pack lighter than that.

That is a light backpack!
I have a Bach Specialist,
Very happy with it. Sturdy, no-nonsense and fits like a glove. It all depends on your back though, I tried at least 10 different types/brands and this was the only one that felt good.
Boots first, then the backpack, completely agree.

I have to find a new backpack...the TSA literally ripped off my hip straps and ruined my top pouch. Left a little note claiming I agreed to let them mess up my stuff when I bought the ticket 
Good thing REI's been having all those sales this summer.

I got this one recently. Its pretty neat  w/ a few cool addons like a rain cover, and built in whistle on the front strap  Looks nice too, and pretty comfortable

Osprey really seem to be top notch backpacks. Every one I look at just looks perfectly designed and well thought out. I have mostly thought highly of High Sierra backpacks, but my buddy had 2 straps on his break (chest strap and an accessory strap), he did have the kitchen sink packed into a 63L though.. so maybe it was over it's designed weight limit.

It could have been overburdened.. but even so packs should be able to go above their rated capacity without breaking.
Most likely what also contributed was he didn't have a good fitting pack. A good fit is crucial.
High Sierra makes some decent stuff, no personal experience with their packs myself, but then again I also haven't heard any rave reviews either.
Osprey is just totally solid, they've been in the game for a while and they make some killer packs. Same with Gregory.
I don't think I've ever seen a bad review for a Gregory or Osprey pack. My first pack was a Gregory and I loved the shit out of that thing.
I would also highly, highly, highly recommend Granite Gear packs. I  my Nimbus Meridian.
Arc'teryx is worth a mention as well. They make top of the line stuff. It's also pretty expensive.
But if you are a kitchen sink kind of guy, their packs are designed for massive loads. And they are practically bombproof.
this one, for example, or this.
As you can see, they are not for people on a tight budget, or ultralight hikers.
For me personally, ~250 to maybe about 300 is about the most I am comfortable spending on a really good quality pack that I expect to last for many many years.
Unless I was like climbing Mt. Everest or something..

I have a super cheap Wal Mart/Coleman backpack that works ok for me. Told myself once I wore some holes in it or ruined some of the zippers, I'd upgrade to a "real" backpacker's pack, but this thing has lasted 2 summers so far and really stood up to the abuse. Not bad for $75, I feel like I got my money's worth a long time ago.

i've a kelty coyote 4750. going on 6 years old. been good so far. can get everything i need in for 3-5 days easy. only downside, for me, is there's too much zipper-space on the outside of the pack. someday i'll upgrade and use this for a bug out bag

I just got an Osprey Atmos 65 for this season...already has some miles on it :-)
I also have a Gossamer Gear G4
A no name climbing pack
And my old school coleman external frame that is actually really comfy with a light load.
Oh, and a bunch of day packs of course

I just picked up a Sandpiper of California Long Range Bugout Bag
Its way bigger in reality than it looked in the pictures to me. 6,840 Cubic Inches. This thing is a beast. Ridiculous capacity.
I wanted another pack to counter my lightweight (3,800 CI) backpacking pack. Something massive with lots of pockets, for my ultimate bug out bag. Something more militaryish than lightweight backpacker.
This thing filled that niche perfectly. 1000 denier cordura, double and triple stitched everywhere.. rugged as a motherfucker
you can just tell the material is hardcore and high quality, this thing will take some abuse.
More pouches, pockets, organizers, internal straps, nooks and crannies than I know what to do with!
A little bit heavier than I am used to (8lbs- just the pack), but I wanted something bulletproof and able to carry SHIT TONS of gear, which this thing carries fucking TONS.
Almost double the capacity of my other pack which I thought was huge, and a lot more options for keeping things compartmentalized and better organized.
I'm super impressed so far. Carries a heavy load surprisingly well

That thing looks beastly! Nice to know if some sort of apocolyptic scenario ever takes place, you can probably fit enough peanut butter and dried milk in that thing to last a year!

Here's my Gregory Teton circa 1997. this pack has well over 1000 miles on it, and still going strong. Well over packed for a three-nighter in the Trinity alps.

I use this osprey exos. Its pretty light and the net on the back makes it comfortable to carry.
 
(doesn't have food in it so top is saggy)

I usually carry a 4 piece 5wt. Reddington fly rod with me. Or a fenwich spinning rod matched with a shimano sedona for pitching spinners & spoons on lakes. I'm trying to stick with fly-fishing lately tho..

I got an Eastpak book-bag type backpack. I've had it since I was in high school and I think it cost like $25-$30 back then. It's got 2 zipper pouches on the outside for extra stuff that are perfect for the small stuff like snake bite kits and sandwiches.

Here is my Granite Gear Nimbus Meridian. This was on the approach to the Appalachian Trail in the Chattahootchee National Forest in Georgia. She was carrying probably about thirty two lbs at this point. Not very well packed I might add--I was still getting used to carrying that much weight. But, like Shroomism, I love this pack. Very solid, well made piece of equipment
and yes, that's a bike horn...

You know I was going to buy a Kelty, they were on sale at the REI near my house. They certainly are nice backpacks. The guy at the store loaded it with 35-40 lbs of sandbags and let me try it on, it held the weight really well. I'm satisfied with my Mars 80L though. REI has a great warranty on it, and all in all they are one of my favorite companies. (USAA is also another great company)

This pack has been with me for 12 years, traveled to 16 countries and is a perfect "No nonsense" pack. Very adaptable. I try to keep it to the 65L mark (which I think is packing heavy) and then save the extra 10L section for extra food for the longer trips. LOVE LOVE LOVE having this pack on my back. It's like a Hug from a longtime friend

i too have a cfp-90. with a patrol pack. i love this pack. i used to have one for years, that i actualy found in perfect condition being thrown out around the block from me during spring cleanup time. it was dark out and i was actualy in the market for a pack, as i was planning on hitting the road and traveling. it was pretty fucking crazy the way i came upon it. i just saw the outline of something camoflauge. had no idea what it was until i picked it up. i could get furthur into the story as it was mind blowing. i was actualy dosing at the time, and there was some trippy shit on the local radio station that coincided with my finding. it served me very well for years of traveling. was basically my turtle shell for a while. i lived out of it. somehow or another, a couple years ago, it was in my girlfriends garage, and there were a few friends of mine helping her clean it out and organize it. no one owned up to it, and im sure they didnt steal it, but i think someone thought it was garbage and threw it out. i had lost the internal frame pieces, but it was still in fine condition and i planned on figuring out how to order them. it was proly a lil dirty being in the garage, but i was so pissed it got tossed, if for no other reason than it had alot of sentimental value. anyway, i finally bought another one a few months ago, and this came with the patrol pack which is a nice addition. ive yet to use it, but certainly will this summer. been stocking up on good gear in the meantime. i got it off ebay for about 120 bux too. not bad. they are a lil heavier than alot of packs, but so rugged, fit alot and alot of spots for attachments with the molle connections.

I've got a 20 year old BD 6k liter pack that's on it's last legs, that I haven't used now that I've got my 2400cc REI Lookout 40 a few months ago.
I've gotten into climbing pretty hardcore over the past 2 years, and this pack is perfect for that in this area (Central Texas). It's great for ultra-light and fast weekend adventures, and absolutely perfect for bringing along all the extra shit I could ever want during a day at the crag.
I do find myself wishing I had something bigger for the weekends though, and once winter comes around and I shed the ultra-light blanket and hammock for my tent or bivy sack with sleeping bag and pad, I will be needing something bigger... No idea what I'm going to get yet, though I do like the go-lite packs a lot.

I love Osprey packs.
I use the same Atmos 50 for my multi day excursions. It's 5 or so years old and probably has close to 1000 miles on it by now and it still looks brand new. Its the perfect pack for me and cant find anything to complain about it.
For day trips, around town, festies, and simple summer overnighters i use an old ass Osprey Talon 22.
This thing has been everywhere with me and really needs to be replaced. I just cant replace anything till it falls apart and the pack is still in good condition besides the stains and wear and tear from all the abuse i threw at it.
Osprey in my opinion makes the best packs hands down.
I would never buy another brand.
This is in the White mountains with Mt Washington being pinched..

In my opinion the best ultra lite pack around is the Hyperlite Mountain Gear pack. It's a cuben fiber \ silnylon hybrid, 28oz for the 40L, has a frame, and its water proof.

I just checked and in 25 year I don't have a descent pic of my pack, that I can find.
It a Dana Design I bought in 1988 or 89. The pack has worked great for all theses years and I have no plans to replace it.

I have a few military packs, but my main hiking pack is an LL Bean weekend pack. I have used it for 3-5 day trips as well since I go ultralight. I think I originally paid about $80 dollars for it. In the 4 years I have owned it I damaged it one time. Since LL bean has a lifetime guarantee I called them up told them what happened. 2 Days later I received my new pack and a prepaid shipping label to ship my damaged one back. Plus they gave me a $20 dollar LL bean gift card!!

Backpack from last years trip
This year I'll probably take my bike, use some 5gal bucket panniers and for a good fraction of the way walk it along like a mule (w/o riding it). Might need to get a new rucksack as one of the straps has been damaged.

Mostly use it while traveling. Fits in an urban environment, and is really practical, you can open the whole bag up, so its really easy to pack.
Traveled for over 5 months with only this backpack.

I have two extremes.
Smaller is a ski backpack. North Face Off Chute 25 which I bought about 10 or 12 years ago. It's really good for a night or two. This pack is so awesome I can't understand why it isn't made anymore. I have taken this thing many many places. It's good for backcountry skiing, as well.
Larger is a Gregory Denali Pro 105. It was given to me a few years back. Really nice pack. I can fit many many things in here. Comfy for long hauls also.

USMC issued back pack. Ive had this thing since boot camp in 2003 The most durable back pack I have ever used. I've attached a hydration system. Good for a couple of nights.
Right now I'm using an alice pack circa desert storm. Its garbage for what I need it for but it works.
I plan on getting this pretty soon.

Perhaps because military gear is often tried and true, and surplus is often much cheaper than comparable brand name stuff at retail prices. I'm not saying it's always the best option, but for some it might be.

I choose military because it is reliable. Its been tested in the field and approved for use. Often you will find it to be cheaper as well.
I do have to admit that the alice pack is garbage, but I paid $20 for it years ago.
I also picked up a USMC modular sleep system rated -50°F. It cost me $30.
So price and durability is what I look for. I do not buy from surplus. I usually get my gear from people who have used it once or twice.

Alot of people steer towards military gear because as mentioned it's tried and tested in the field. Plus it's durable as fuck and can be found for cheap.
Also the modular ability and being able to attach many different things to the pack (MOLLE/Alice gear)
Either that, or they just want to play survival army man.
Military gear tends to be on the heavy as fuck side though, that's their biggest downside IMO. That plus I find some military stuff to be a bit clunky.
But overall military grade stuff is generally gonna last longer and is usually much more durable than it's commercial counterparts. An example would be especially in terms of stuff like e-tools, 7 cord mil-spec 550 lb test paracord vs commercial paracord. military packs are heavy but hella durable. etc.
I got a military style bug out bag.. it's ridiculously big:
   
Pics don't really show the full size... it's huge.. and like 3 layers deep.. so many compartments and straps and shit inside.
I like it but it's kind of clunky and pretty heavy. It carries a ton of gear though, and so many compartments and pockets and shit it's easy to organize gear.
If I was backpacking I'd still prefer my Granite Gear Nimbus Meridian.. thing is light as fuck, well balanced and carries a ton of gear easy. Only two compartments (and an addon pouch I added), but I can carry more weight much easier with that thing, it's more centered, narrower and better distributes the weight.
Internal frame packs for comfort...
External frame packs if you want to carry a ton of shit and have lots of pockets and straps and shit

I have an atmos 50 4 of the male counterpart buckles have broken and I,ve replaced , the top of the pack that u can pull up to add more stuff under the top floating section has ripped also left perpendicular shoulder strap is tearing only 3 years old ,I wear it everyday though

I'm shopping for a new pack. I got some big plans for this summer.
I have a circa 1993 5000 cubic inch black diamond pack. I'm gonna try to send it back to the company and get some stuff fixed on it. But I still need a new one. I need 5000+ CI and it's gotta be waterproof. Probably going to go with a Mountain Hardware bag.

Been traveling with "salewa cammino 65+10"
For the last 8 months, though I'm quite happy with it.. I usually don't carry more than 9kg in it.. As a personal preference.
So when I'll get back home(in about 2 months) I'll sell it and buy a new 60l , been thinking about buying a 60~65l of "Lowe Alpine" which served me miraculously on my army service (90l bag back then)

Just ordered this guy from REI. Unfortunately they didnt have my size in at the time. It's the Atmos 65 by Osprey. The best feature about this bag (and there's a lot of them) is the "anti gravity" technology on the back. Even when this thing is loaded with 40lbs of gear, you barely notice that it's on. The bag literally just gives you a giant, comfortable hug.

REI Flash 64. I've literally carried this bag for over 3,000 miles. I need a new one though. It's starting to weather. I'll be getting a new one of the same model as soon as I start a new job next week. Super light, comfortable, well designed, and basically meets all my needs. Oh! And although 64 liters is way bigger than I almost ever need, it collapses down to a comfortable 40 liters. So I can use it for 2-3 day trips easily, or up to 8 days without too much trouble. It's my baby. Love it to death.

On a different note just going ther to get some food and the employees were bitter and it was just poverty and misery, the vibe of the place.

The movie the Ritual. The guys who know what they are doing as far as packing. Looking at that picture paused. That is perfect. Just watching the movie now and looking forward to the Pacific Crest trail again. This time, much better prepared.
It is amazing how large things that society deems so important become so small when you are in the wilderness for awhile. A running stream is worth all the money in the world.
Like the Native Americans said, the white man won't get nature until they realize that money was made by man and has no value unto itself unless their is a mutual agreement. Look at the Germans and other countries having wheel barrios of cash that would buy one loaf of bread.
Trust in nature. It is amazing and will take care of your health and psyche. Bring on Spring and Summer and into fall. Harsh teacher at times but what strength and wisdom it brings. Just say no, lol.
Let the weak die out. Let those that thrive for live and wisdom live on and share their wildness and wisdom with others. Nature will take over. Look how it breaks down everything man made over time. Go with it instead of against it. Your screens like mine will not be in front of you forever. Handy tool, but it is just that. I wasted a year from my fathers death and now it's time to get back to what really matters to me. All are welcome to help this earth, be in tune with it. I just recently got a "5.11 tactical RUSH 72" backpack, it's pretty much a military style pack with the MOLLE webbing and so forth. I use it for various work and leisure related stuff and it seems to be rather stout. It has ample space and handy pockets/organization potential.

I got a new pack last year!
It's a ULA Circuit and it's already spent a lot of time wandering Northern California and the Sierras. Getting ready for my annual JMT section hike in July and can't wait! Many prep trips in the works to keep things dialed!

The John Muir Trail. I am jealous. It's like a concert with people trying to get in but you just go through. I say fuck them. This summer is going to be amazing. PCT but I might try to get in through there. Passes be damned! It's nature and I respect it.

Just upgraded from the REI Flash 65 that I carried on the PCT to this HyperLite Mountain Gear bag for the Colorado Trail. Finished all 525 miles (the trail is only 486 miles, but I took some extra detours up some 14,000ft peaks along the way) yesterday.
Also worth mentioning, I was on trail for 26 days, and for 16 of those days I used psychedelics to try and use the trail to try to better understand myself, my connection with nature, the meaning of the universe, and that kind of thing. Learned a lot along the way and did a long, long, long write up about it. This is the bad mama jamma that carries my life for me every other week at work. 90L German brand called 'Vaude' that I got from craigslist. Even had someones written address of a place in Germany. Makes me think someone came to the states to backpack a trail and then left the bag.

I love my SOG Backpack. It has a deceptively large amount of space and plenty of pockets and straps for gear. I use it when I go Biking, foraging, or shopping.

Reviving a dead thread to show off my backpack:
Osprey Kestrel 48. For me it's the perfect backpack in every way. If you have good gear and know how to pack (and make your own trail food) 48 is more than enough for 7+ days. I did the West Coast Trail last year, 7 days of long distance hiking with a starting total pack weight of 32 pounds.
That pack has been used and abused, soaked with mud, caked with clay, and still looks brand new. They are remarkably resilient.
You can't go wrong with an Osprey. I like the design of Deuter packs as well but no pack I've ever tried is as comfortable and well thought out as an Osprey.

Looks great plus you say it is durable. And looking for a new pack. I go on three weeks or more journey trips. This year is fucked up. I don't know what the plans will be. Do you know good trails that are open? PCT is closed. Been on it three years straight. Wondering about the A.T.
Plus if you have a good recommendation for a decent tent between 100-150 U.S. I threw mine away out of frustration last Summer.

I have an 8 day hike planned for June but all the trails are closed for the time being. Now we are looking at doing the Sunshine Coast Trail, or at least part of it, as it looks like its still open.
I've never done the PCT or AT but both are on my bucket list.
I highly recommend Marmot tents, I use a Marmot Limelight. At almost 7 pounds its too heavy for some long distance hikers but I love it and I have no problem with the weight. Its worth it for the quality and comfort of the tent. Try to get an older model as they reduce the prices a lot when new models come out.

Recently came across a great location just over the road from me for walking the dog; densely wooded and very few humans around. There's faint traces of paths but they're all overgrown so I decided to pop to the local supply store to see if they had a machete.
Well, wouldn't you know it - they had this little beauty sitting in the case waiting for me - all for the princely sum of $44!!
I'll put it to the test tomorrow, can't wait!

I really don't see the point of it. They close off everything.
But at least I have my wonderful storage closet. Hope is on the horizon! Nothing but fun and people not threatening to shoot you if you are traveling in the wild and near the trails and them, will be glad when things are normal again. Tired of it. Missed my whole Summer but I get it.
On with it and life. Spring hopefully and buy a new one because I have so much extra fucking money stuck in my fucking apartment watching endless garbage on t.v.
Blah.
What I miss the most is the smell of the air, sitting on a rock on a high elevation and just, it is a different consciousness that no drug can replicate though many drugs are fun but get boring. I need to hike and camp.
It is January so wouldn't anyway but in Spring, if all this is still shutdown and fear. I will accept it of course but I really am not afraid of it in the wilderness, the virus and it is just the people I fear.
Will see in March and post a great backpack and a few pics, lol. Watched Jungle and yeah, seeing there feet and those packs in the 80's, wow. If anyone knows what it feels like to put blister lotion and bandage every toe under it, having to just sit and rest for a whole day to let one's feet heal a bit with toenails on the verge of coming off, that I don't miss. But more of a high elevation hiker/camper long term term then jungels in Bolivia. Great show though.
Recommend it for like the in that book termed the tennis shoe hikers, still know one's limits. Am the type to just get up and go and all that matters is a little bit of food but lots of water despite the weight. If you are fit, you really need so little food, all about the water. Nothing like finally coming across it when running low. On with life.

I’ve been getting into ultralight as I prep for an Appalachian thru hike. My current pack is the Hyperlite Mountain Gear 3400 Southwest Pack. I used it on a recent section hike on the Appalachian. It’s an extremely comfortable pack. Love it.

Those are bad ass packs man, you'll see quite a few thruhikers on the AT with them. I've got the zPacks ArcBlast (I think is what it's called). It weighs like 6oz and has a quasi 'frame' on it.
I made an attempt at the AT several years ago but pinched a nerve (chronic back issues for ~20 years) and had to pull out at the half way point....I can't wait to go get my payback on that trail lol. Good luck man it's a fucking blast!
Edit: FYI you'd be surprised what a big bag of mush in your pack will get you on the trail - hotels, food, beer/liquor, friends, good times. They're a hot commodity out there

I still have my Gregory Shasta pack (see my response on the first page of this thread). Its 25 years old now but hasn't been used in the last decade. Now my 74 year old Uncle got a bug up his ass and wants to go backpacking. His wife won't let him go alone so he has recruited me to be his backpacking buddy. So I got the old pack out and dusted it off. Bought a new sleeping bag and our inaugural 4-day trip is in May. He wants to work up to doing a week in the Grand Tetons. Works for me since I've never been there.
BTW, that 74 year old man will hike my ass into the ground. He's a Marine veteran of Vietnam and still a complete badass to this day. It'll be good to get my 50-something ass back into shape again.

Shit works fine though older. New tent and newer gear. Will do just fine. Really doesn't matter a whole lot as long as you have water.
Just don't go to dumb spots in August. World burned and now is Canada and Minnesota, lol, makes me laugh for my own reasons.
Just waiting till September this year and got somewhat of a refund on Amtrak but at least they gave me some back. Nothing is worse on the PCT then not finding water. Puts life in perspective really to me. I don't give so much of a shit when I return home about menial stuff. From my last trip.
On with it. I want that feeling again and you can't recreate it, just feel a new adventure that really sucks at times and at others is really fulfilling, as a vacation which going back to work so many say I wish I could or why would you pay for a vacation like that.
Answer is, two a year. One in a city and one on the trail. I fear ticks so no A.T. but section hiking the PCT is a joy and going into towns at times.
Why are there so many fuckers on the shroomery that just mock? I can take it just is so stupid when you travel to it and the types of people you meet and not the majority of fuckers here.
