Should I harvest the entire monotub at once?

So inside my monotub majority of the mushies veils are broke and spores have hardly dropped if any, but I also have mushies still growing they are probably a little bit taller than a normal sized bic lighter. I was wondering if I should harvest them all at once right now, or try to just pick the ones with the broken veils. I am also about to go to the gym i was thinking maybe ill just wait until im done with the gym before harvesting. I would just like a little advice on what you guys would do this is my first mono!
Sorry for no pics i have no camera or cell phone sadly.

Pick them as the veil breaks, as it happens. No need to wait and harvest all at once.

Here's a pic ..

This tub has examples of fruits at different stages of development ...
Pick the big ones and then come back and pick the others when they become ready.

^^^ true, but also they frequently will mature within 24 hours of each other. So waiting a bit and then picking everything is a valid strategy as well.
Either way, pins for later flushes are probably there already, try not to disturb them much.

Just go ahead and cut out/pull the ones that are mature and pull rest as they mature.

Yes.
I just shot another pic (10 hours after the first pic) that is instructive.
first pic 10 hrs later
You can see spores are being released. The spores are not making a mess on the substrate surface (yet), they are swirling up and getting the caps. If I were a good boy, I would have picked the big ones last night (pre-spore-mess) and then I could pick the others sometime today. But, I am not a good boy. I am a lazy boy.
Now, I would say, the best strategy is to pick them all.
good luck, have fun

You can also just cut the caps off the ones that are sporulating until the whole tub is ready... i'd usually do that if I had a couple early birds... helps keep things clean in the FC without disturbing the surface by pickin the whole fruit.

damn ! fahtster ...
that is so obvious. so obvious it is beyond my comprehension !
I am not only a lazy boy, I am a dull boy.
thanks for that. I can't believe I have been doing this for as long as I have and I still miss very obvious, straight forward solutions.
thanks
edit. I'm still laughing at myself. Of course we decapitate fruits for spore printing. I never thought of it for 'housekeeping'.
nice tip

Or, cut the fruits off at the base rather than just the cap. This takes the whole fruit.

This is my very first monotub and first flush I ended up waiting about 6 more hours and harvested the entire tub at once! Very satisfied with what i got! Monos rock!
