My collections from my hunt today in a predominantly cottonwood and aspen forest and my lawn. This hunt follows a few days of light rain.
Pleurotus sp. Found on dead standing cottonwood trees in a predominantly cottonwood forest.

Ganoderma sp. (?) Found on an unknown dead standing deciduous tree in the same forest as mentioned above.

Unknown #1 Found on a fallen, rotten cottonwood tree. Growing close to ground in large numbers. Stalk brittle, gills attached, no annulus. Printing now.

Unknown #2 Mycena sp. ? Found in my lawn. Stalk delicate and fibrous, gills free, cap viscid. Conical in young specimens. Printing now.

--------------------
Always looking for interesting active prints (especially Gymnopilus spp. and sclerotia producers) and cacti and poppy seeds.

Just an update on those spore prints I was making:
The unidentified Pleurotus species did indeed have a cream spore print, in keeping with its ID.
Number 4 does indeed have a rusty brown spore print, which is in keeping with the ID as Bolbitius titubans.
Did not obtain a good print from number 3, but it also looks to have a light brown to rusty brown spore print.
Thanks everyone!
