ever had one of those days where you don't feel like getting out of bed, and feel like every hopeless thing you might want to try and accomplish makes you want to lash out and you can't even enjoy anything?
yeah, i've had plenty of those... so i dunno, maybe i suck at humanity, or maybe, just maybe, i'm really fucking good at it. who knows? anyone here got a clue?

OK, ENOUGH.
NO MORE SUGGESTIONS.
I've had it. Everyone has to throw in their two cents and 9/10ths of you haven't a fucking clue what they're talking about.
Mods, can you lock this thread up?

One last suggestion. Calm down bro.

See how calm you are when you have 9 pages of people telling you how you should live your life.

I'm sorry but you are completely ignorant... you either started this thread because you
1. wanted to talk about your depression (which you didn't because you said you didn't want to tell your whole life story on an internet forum) or
2. wanted help for your depression.
Everyone in this thread has had ups and downs in their life and they are sincerely trying to help you and also conversate with each other about how we got through it and how our lives have been. Then you are going to say we don't know anything and are trying to tell you how to live? What a geniune dumbass. Obviously this whole thread was a waste of time, what was the point of you even posting this? You obviously need some help but you're stuck until you realize you're the only one that can help yourself. Go ahead and keep putting your thoughts and feelings into other peoples hands, fucking robot.

You're know it all attitude and general lack of respect will get you no where in life. You should eat some more mushrooms or LSD and learn to talk to your fellow shroomerite with some dignity.

I agree he isn't taking the best approach, but I find his attack at OP to be childish. There is a way to convey that same message like an adult rather than a bro.

I wanted to talk about it when I was deep in the depression. It was more just to vent my frustrations about the whole thing. You gotta realize, I've got people from every angle of my life telling me what I should be doing differently and it just gets so damn frustrating, because I can't exactly convey the whole picture.
And I'm not about to spill my whole life out on the internet, that's what I have a trained and licensed counselor for.
Sorry I got frustrated, but you gotta understand. I wanted to talk about it while I was deep in the depression, but even that got old when I realized that people with very limited info or experience were telling me what to do.
Just no more suggestions please. That's all I ask.
Oh and skydiving, I did that back when I turned 21. It made me feel like I was on top of the world. Of course I didn't do it while I was depressed or I never would have made it out of the house, much less jump out of a plane. Or I would have gladly jumped out of the plane, without a parachute on.
But that wore off quickly.
So please, no more suggestions. And I do apologize for getting short tempered.

Well that's good, I'm glad you feel better and I'm also sorry for anything offensive/ rude I have said. I guess I also got swept up there for a moment. Good luck I hope you find a method of dealing with depression that suits you. Looks like this will be something you have to find within yourself.

that's cool I've always thought skydiving would be a good way to refresh your mind but I've never done it.

Yeah, I want to do it again, it was a blast. But like everything, it's temporary. As soon as it was over I was itching to do it again.
That's another one of my problems. I can have a blast doing something, but when it's done I feel disappointed that it's over. I can't just enjoy it for what it is.
