    #1626693 - 06/11/03 05:28 PM (14 years, 10 months ago)

uh, well im sure this has been asked before but i cant seem to find exactly what im looking for so...a foaf innoculated pint jars, that were filled a little more than half way w/wbs, about 4-5days ago and already showing growth. Under optimal growing conditions around how many days/weeks would it take to fully colonize the entire jar.

My jars usually colonize in 2-3 weeks. But it all depends on jar size, amount of spores injected, temperature, composition of the substrate. But typically, 2 to 4 weeks should do the trick. If it takes longer, don't panic, just be patient. Patience is the most important 'ingredient' in mushroom growing.
