Grandfather Paradox solved!

You build a time machine and go back 50 years or so and meet and kill your grandfather, yet you still exist. How is this possible? The man you killed was married to your grandmother, but she was having an illicit affair with the milkman.

when you travel back in time, you can kill your grand father and not exist in the future. by doing so, you are creating a different future that exists in a different time and space than the point in time that you did when you were born and grew up to subsequently create a time machine and go back in time to kill your grandfather. so there is no paradox to the action of killing your grand father, because you killed him after he had already created you with out first being killed by you before doing so.
