Heating Problem

What is the best way to keep a terraium warm with out a fish tank heater? I live in New England and room temperature here is about 70 F and i dont know how to get my fruiting chamber to 86 F does anyone know a way or will wraping it with towels or something help? By the way im using perlite for humidity. CAN SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME?

70 F is what the temperature in my house always is it doesnt change

I have one of those space heaters set on low, i have my jars in the original box on top of the the heater. works great. terrarium wise i just keep it in my room, room temp is ok.

70 is fine for fruiting.  Even 68 is good.  If you want more heat for an incubator or something, you could either set it on top of a washing machine/dryer or buy a small heating pad and set it on the lowest setting and place it on top.  There are a ton of ways you can heat it up, you get the idea  :wink:
