Slimy mushy, contamy... =/

So... after a first flush I noticed the caps of my mushys are kinda slimy and some have this light blue/green stuff on them, and... when I dry them its pretty green, I've eaten one that was green and had no problems, but I still wanna know how it got there...

I use lots of H2O2, could it be a humidity problem or the perlite needs to be cleaned?

There is some on all mushrooms, but it doesn't smell rancid or anything, but on one mush I let mature too much, there is some fuzzy black/blue stuff, if it were white it would be mic but it's not white... =/

Suggestions?

Thanks

I would be careful, based on your loose description. The caps of shrooms are often slick but not slimey. I interpret slimey to mean that they have some sort of mucus on them that you can rub off... not just wet like a dogs nose. There is a good chance that you are looking at Pseudomonas (bacterial blotch) which isn't good to eat. Check out the contamination faq link in the sticky post at the top of this forum for a good picture.

yea, my shrooms don't look anything like that... they look like regular shrooms just lil slimy caps, and one or two of them have darker green-blue on them, but not nasty like that bacterial blotchy crappy...
