Im buying an 1/8th of shrooms from this guy.. I mostly trust him but I want to be sure. Its my first shrooming experiance and I want to make sure I get the full 1/8th. Technically I could pay for a 1/8th, he could give me say half a 1/8th and I would have no idea.
So approximetely how big/ or how many shrooms etc would 1/8th look like?

Borrow a scale from a friend..... if you can.. and if you dont i think u are fucked!! Have him weigh it out in front of you... thats what i used to do...
and i would highly recomend eating the whole eighth... get one awesome trip that you will remember rather than two unsatisfactory trips , and then wishing later that you would have taken the wholething..
How much r u paying for an eighth.. i wish i could find some over here in idaho... i would shell out 30 bucks for an eighth right now!'

well.. I dont have a scale, and I seriously doubt any of my friends have one either.
I dont want to just have them weighed in front of me becasue the guy selling me is my friend and yeah i dont know haha, i should have to worry but im just being safe.
im paying $20 also out here in Cali.

well if he is your boy... trust him... an eighth looks pretty small too... how are you gonna eat em? chomp em up or make a tea or something else..
i like mixing em with raman noodles and eating it.. so fun!!
When i trip i like to always have a pencil and pen and write shit down... just once in a while.. just dumb shit that u r thinking at the time... so later on i can look at it and remember how i felt at that exact moment... it really helps when you want to remember later!!

haha.
i dont think i have anything to worry about but im just being safe.
im probably gonna chop em up and put em on a sandwich or something. I dont know. I heard drinking em with orange juice aplifies the affects.
and when im tripping I plan to write a bunch of stuff in my livejournal.. hopefully it will be amusing to read when im sober.

an 1/8 can look like a lot of different things... a crap load of pins, 4 or 5 averaged sized shrooms, one big fat ass shroom... it all depends. an 1/8 of weed look like a hell of a lot more then an 1/8 of shrooms... so don't judge that way either.

don't take my word for this but i think an eighth should line the bottom of a plastic (ziplock) bag, and about .75 or so cm tall

It truly isn't possible to eye out an eigth of shrooms like it is to eye out an eigth of dank. The mushrooms can be tiny but dense, or huge but skinny, or fat and dense and huge. Your going to need a scale, or cross your fingers. When I bought my first shrooms, I bought a quarter, and he gave it to me in 2 bags, an eigth in each. When I first looked at it, I just thought, damn I hope I did not get beat. I was dealing with this guy for a year, and prolly funded the purtchase of his new truck, and I didn't want to get beat on shrooms that's for sure, they only come around here every once and awhile. So when I got home and weighed it, it weighed up to 7.6 grams.  Not only did it weight out, it weighed over.

If you are going to do any type of transaction based on weight, if you don't have a scale present for the transaction...simply DON'T do it. I've never met a supplier of any given substance who took offense to me asking them to weigh stuff out in front of me. It shows their honesty and integrity. Some people calibrate their scales to be off on purpose...but I never had a situation like that.
It just floors me that kids think that just because "he's my boy" or "we're great friends" means anything in a business transaction. There is no way to eye weight up with shrooms (or anything really). And when you get into psychedelics that rely on micrograms for dosage...you'd be insane to not weigh your stuff before dosing. Bottom line is...if you're unwilling to buy a $2 postal scale (which will at least give you a decent indicator of the weight) then you're rolling the dice.
On a related note, it's even worse with pills. If you roll, TEST YOUR FRIGGIN PILLS. Unless you deal directly with the chemist...you cannot be gauranteed of anything with pills. Regardless if your supplier is the most trusted person in your life, there are people above them in the supply chain that could be shady. If you don't think your life is worth a $20 bottle of testing solution...then you deserve no sympathy when you're being rolled into the ER cause you didn't test your pill and simply wanted to get high.
Until drugs are legal and provided by proper labs...you should not trust the quality and safety of ANYTHING you didn't cultivate or synthesize yourself (and even then, if you're dealing with synthetics, if you don't have proper training...you could still end up hurting yourself.)

Yea and other thing that gets me with the kids in the rave scene today, is the ones that will swear to their grave they got a pure MDMA pill because it looked just like the one on a website. People don't seem to realize stamps don't mean shit. People can stamp a pill with what ever the fuck they want.

As has been said, it is impossible due to the fact that they could be pins or one giant shroom. The last time my neighbor tripped it was off one 38gram freshie!
I would buy them, then go to a post office and weigh them there. Somewhere they should have a digital postal scale so you can buy the correct amount of stamps for a letter. At my post office the scale is out of the common line of sight, near a stamp dispenser. Just scope out a few post offices until you find a good one. Be quick and get out. Have a letter with you just in case, to look like you belong. If they weigh be happy. If not, be happy you have anything and find a new guy. There are lots of people on this board who have nothing...
