 AWAKENING

How should anyone aproach this subject? Can someone explain some of it? Can there be a false awakening? Driven to a end road?
Also, I wanted to ask you about the awakening you feel on a mushroom trip(if you feel any):). It was my very first trip that made me feel like reborning, awakening, over and over again. Layers of shitty reality were stripping off continuasly till I became so pure, I was all white full of light. Actually there was only light around me and myself. Bright light! That's the point I reached the full reborning/awakening. Anyone else experinced this? Any deeper meaning than this? Thanks for patience. Anyone?
Edit: I forgot to say that during all this time I was surrounded by divine love(the true God's love as I was feeling it) love was everything around me and within me floating continuasly.  Great moments.

What you experienced is most likely a awakening on a lower chakra. Substances such as mushrooms awaken lower chakra's in the body, that is why they are "guides", and by no means a true awakening.
I am glad you experienced this feeling, now you have a choice to make. You can try and further this spiritual awakening by doing more mushrooms, yet in this act you will always need a substance to do this and the path in terms of spirituality is very short. You could take this spiritual awareness and start practicing a various number of disciplines, that of meditation as one. And as always it is not religion driven, so feel free.
As a mushrooms trip of my own, i experienced a certain kind of bliss, but not a full encompassing light. Take care

you should go here  http://www.near-death.com see if what the peoples NDE's say coincides with your feelings when you were on shrooms.
bright white light is love. love is god. god is in YOU. you were surrounded by light because god is in you he is in everyone. realize this and doors will open like a mother fucka. seeing god in everyone and everything, that is awakening. awakening is opening your eyes and seeing.

An Awakening is a very personal process. Sometimes it is instantaneous, most of the time it is a gradual process of events and realizations. It begins when you begin perceiving the spiritual world.
Think of it like a journey, every step, every experience along the way will add to your pool of wisdom. Eventually, you gain enough wisdom as to see beyond the slow vibrations of the physical realm, and into the eternal etheric matter that is energy and spirit, which is parallel to every aspect of reality.
Awakening is a personal journey, an internal exploration, it has many levels, and can unfold in any infinite number of ways according to the individual, but there are several primary principles involved.
- The release of belief systems, binding thought patterns, pre-conceived notions, etc
- A balancing or harmonization of the hemispheres of the brain (left and right in sync, neither dominant)
- Insight into self, connectiveness with all, realization of energy body and remembrance of past lives, begin using force of will to manipulate physical realm I.e - mental esp

I will have to agree with Cougheeman and shromisim and I will add, that to beguine the road to awakening you have to come to the realization that you are and idiot, I now it sounds hard to admit, but is the first step for awakening, as long as you maintain this feeling you will never hit a dead end, but the moment that you feel that you know it all and feel pride and superior, will be your dead end.
As for the mushies, they are grate allies, If you form the right relationship with them.
They can show you things about your self that need to be worked and cleaned, if you resist them or bring your baggage with you they can not show you higher levels, and if you insist and not changing you will have bad trips.
I came to the conclusion that most of the bad trips are because they help us see our self with brutal honesty and we don?t like what we see.
Once you accept and laugh at yourself the cosmic fun begins!

SOrry fellas cause this is off the subject but last time i tripped i saw awakenings with robert deniro...and it was trippy as hell, did any one else see it? The sad part is that its not even supposed to be a trippy movie (or is it?)
