I have not, but I entered one for the first time last week. It's quite an interesting thing. I imagine it'd be relatively costly, especially if you want to do it right. I would be very concerned with sound isolation and would most definitely made sure I used an effective material for that. 800 pounds of epsom salt would cost $688. Cleaning and air filtration systems would also need to be purchased.

Oh boy, this does sound rather costly and i just realized keeping sound proof but still being able to breath would be tricky

i use a floating tank regularly, and planning to build one in the future. exists a yahoo group on floatation tanks. the main concern, in my case, are: have the FT instaled on a solid floor, since is heavy and can broke roofs, wooden floors, etc; and the temp outside the tank: the room must be warm, otherwise the tank never will reach 34.3°C.
