where the hell can you get it?...my inoculation success is at an all time low, and the only thing I can think that could be causing this is a lack of a proper air sanitizer...I have tried everything else I can think of short of making a mist tent and doing it under there...haha...I built a still air box and thought that would do the trick but nope...I have searched high and low and no one sells Oust...is their a good substitute that anyone else has had success using? I might have to get into to agar work, if no one can help me out...is it possible that steam sterilization is the problem?...maybe I need to invest in a PC...I just dont know what to do...I am not have just one type of contam either...my jars come out looking like a tye dyed tee

I'm guessing dirty syringe. Air sanitizer is almost irrelevant for inoculation.
Especially in a still air box.

Leave one jar unshot next time as a control. If it shows contams, you aren't sterilizing properly. If it stays clean, you know you're shooting dirty.
A PC is a great idea even for PF cakes, get a little one at a thrift store.

I dont think it is the syringes...I have tried 5 different syringes from 2 different venders, with all horrible results...I will try the control jar next time...great idea...thanks

I boil the contaminated jars for an hour before I dump them, then I always soak all my jars for an hour in %10 bleach water, then rinse with really hot water and let air dry

Do the contams show up first at the injection sites? Right under the holes? Or pretty much all around the jar? That's another indicator of the source. (But use the control jar method for the next batch).
Hit up the thrift stores for a PC as soon as you can. Get a dehydrator too if you spot one, you'll need it soon enough.

One more thought on control jars: I like to use multiple syringes for each batch of jars.
Say you make ten jars, shoot 3 GT, 3 OR, and 3 EQ, and leave one unshot. If two or three of the EQ's contaminate, but none of the others, it's likely that's a bad syringe. If you lose one OR and one GT, jar prep becomes suspect.

thanks doc...will do next go round...I got like 12 syringes to choose from at the moment...also, I just ordered some presterilized rye grain bags, so if they contam, then I guess I know I have some bunk syringes...I think I will knock them up out of different syringes as well

Maybe I missed it, but I did not see anywhere that you stated if you were doing PF cakes or working with Grain. If you are working with Grain(Rye, Wild Bird Seed, etc) they you most definitely need a Pressure Cooker. Steam sterilization is known to work, but you have to keep it in the steamer for about 8+ hours. Fractional steaming has an even higher failure rate. PF Tek should be fine in a steamer for about 90 minutes.
As far as Oust, I do believe the company making that either went out of business or stopped making it. Any air spray that has Ethylene Glycol in it can be used as an air sanitizer. Technically Iso sprays are surface sanitizers. A good substitute is a product called Ozium. I contains Ethylene Glycol. Personally though, I just bought a good HEPA Air purifier and run it for about an hour or 2 before I start work. A good Hepa air purifier will filter down to 0.3 microns. Most bacteria and spores are no smaller than 1.0 microns, meaning the HEPA should filter out all contaminates in the room. If you get one with a UV light in it, it can kill anything else the HEPA filter misses.

I also tought about buying an hepa air filter and run it in the room where I grow, innoc and colonise thing but people here seems to always facepalm when they hear about it, maybe they think we gon use it as a laminar flowhood??

You don't want to move the air around. Scrubbing the air with a filter is fine, but turn it off an hour or so before you start your work. You want still air in a still air box. Once the air is still and settles, it's clean of particulate contaminants.
Cleaning the air in your grow room isn't really needed but you could if you want. Moving air around colonizing jars can lead to drying and/or pinning.
Plus, there's HEPA and there's HEPA. A flowhood wants "best HEPA" (and laminar flow) and people think they can use those room things for a flowhood. SO that's where the facepalming comes from, too many people trying to cut corners.
