How do you assemble a 2 liter fc. For the invitro tek? Mainly the lid part.

Would I still have to store that in a FC?

I dont plan on buying a light to use for my fruiting chamber. Would having my FC laying in my room in indirect sunlight be sufficient?
Im thinking 12 hours of indirect sunlight that seeps through my window, and then another 12 in darkness, most likely in a cubby hole beneath my bed, daily.

It's not really ideal but It could work if you get pretty good lighting edit!!! Hold up . Under your bed? What fc are you using? And there is no need to put it away

Fc's shouldn't be on the floor (bad stuff lives down there ) What kind of fc will you be using?

I made a shotgun FC. Standard clear rubber maid box. Ill be fruiting 6 PF cakes inside for now; will attempt a bulk grow with my second syringe after this one.
I dont really have much room in here, so the floor is my best option. I can raise it onto a box, though. If you recommend it, Ill do it for sure.
Let me know if I can just leave it out for however long I need till harvest. I have a pretty wonky schedule, up from 8 am and back to bed at 2 am, so idk if the 12 hours of darkness is necessary, because the lights in my room are always on till 2 or 3 am.

Yeah it needs to be at least 3 feet off the floor , don't put under your bed it needs to be out in the open so it can get proper fae and make sure its got something on the corners to sit on so the bottom can breath . Fishtank stand maybe? As for the lights being on all the time I wouldn't but if you just have a lamp or something by your bed I don't think it would hurt to much but if you could avoid it I would ... Eat some carrots so you can see better in the dark:) This is my setup I just made a shelf about 4' off the ground

My good man, we have the same tub.
One final question, because Im not to sure on this and the video I saw didnt show much.
As far as drilling holes into the FC goes, I have all 4 sides drilled with 1/4th" holes. My question is in regards to the bottom of the FC. Should I also drill holes where the perlite will rest? I know pooling water is bad, but will I be looking at small puddles forming beneath my FC due to the drilled bottom holes? Should they be smaller holes than the side holes?

OP natural light is great for mushrooms. I have my FC and jar shelfs directly across from two windows and they get direct light all day and I have awesome flushes
And as for your FC, yes drill holes on the bottom. It's actually ideal to have your FC raised up so air can circulate through the bottom. Maybe try tying the FC around the neck and suspending in the air

nimpo remember to have holes on all six sides ( lid and bottom) and when I got mine done it had a lot of water draining out ( my strainer got clogged with perlite) I just razed one end of the tub about 6" to let the water drain ..
