How does this stuff work? Cuz I saw a movie where some cops took some evidence and then when a guy (the victim) asked for his stuff back the cops just say 'this is your first time isn't it?' and laughed. So cops keep your stuff even after a case?

And another thing is drug stuff. Like if you're smoking tabacco out of a pipe they can still take it and smash it? Or arrest you anyways? Cuz I've heard alot of shady gray matter area about this...

Yes, the cops can confiscate your property, be it trinkets or land, as long as it might have something to do with drugs. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

And you dont get your stuff back? Or they can destroy it?
Cuz if so that sounds real shitty. The law is way too anti-drugs. Even aganst the people that dont do drugs then.

Thats pretty much right - if the object has been purchased with proceeds from drug sales, or if it is used in furtherance of breaking drug laws (such as a car would be on the way back from the suppliers house) the item can be seized, and this is a seperate matter than the criminal case (if there even is one). You must sue the government to get your property back, and they do not have to find you guilty of anything to seize something, which is then just a step away from destruction or auction.

Choice of lifestyle and guaranteed freedoms apply to drugs as well as being old, female, black, retarded or gay or religious. Drugs should not be legalized because they can be used to help glaucoma patients, they shoul;d be legalized because its none of the government's business telling me how to live!
