Overbruising?
    #16212998 - 05/10/12 11:49 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I had quite some trouble getting my in-vitro pinned cakes out of the jar and I think I did some serious damage. I used the flat side of a knife and squashed the sides of the cake to get it out. There's deep, deep blue bruising like a navy black and it's not a mold cuz it popped up as I was handling it. So I'm wondering how much could bruising slow down growth in fc considering it'll probably heal itself first and is it possible killing the cake or at least the first flush with serious bruising? I would put pictures up but they're being dunked atm.

It may slow them down but i never noticed it and I have had cakes hit the floor or slam into the sink while i tried to knock them out of the jar when stuck.  I say just dunk it pop it into the chamber and let it go see how it does.

What they said.

Sounds like it will be fine. Might slow a touch or you might get a couple aborts there if everything is growing fast but I doubt there's any real damage.
