As the process continues
    #16211432 - 05/10/12 06:41 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

So I have a couple jars that are 75% white....a couple that are 50% and one thats stragglin at roughly 30%....Its been seemingly months since these bad boys been cultivating but I'm thinking within a week some of the jars will be ready to get dunked and rolled:mushroom2:
Once the cakes have been rolled, whats the timeframe it takes for the mushies to actually be ready for pickens?  (I know it varies but a week, two weeks?)

Also, I have 5 more jars that I inoculated maybe 5 days ago that haven't had any growth (one might have a speck of white) but one looks like it has a speck of black:shocked:
I'm not 100% though because these jars are still very early in their growing process.  Should I just keep this questionable jar with the rest and see what happens or should I isolate it?  It's illogical but I'm asking anyways, theres no potential risk with having that jar with the others is there?

Input as always is very appreciated

In my experience, and this is just my experience, if it's been a month and your jars aren't fully colonized, you probably did something wrong. My 1/2 pints usually take 3 weeks.

I'm thinking I'm around 2 or 3 weeks and some jars are close to fully colonized.
I'm using the scapegoat that sometimes its very cold in my house which delays the process :willfred:

One of mine just hit 100% in one month to the day and has a few friends behind him that are still growing strong , tall 1/2pints just take a little longer ...
