here It says to pull all the aborts. My pal ust harvested from a casing and was wondering if he should remove the hundreds of pins on the casing and let them reform, or are those the ones that will produce the next flush? Hes never otten past first flush due to contams.

And should you remove ALL the mushrooms, no matter how small?

Sometimes new pins come in before others are departing. Flushes do not always come in consistant waves.

Don't pull them unless they are aborts. I usually pull them as I'm pulling mature fruits to make room for others.

If they are healthy, yes, they are the ones that will produce the next flush. Don't remove healthy pins! Aborts should be removed because they're dead, and thus can't fight off contaminants. Aborts are easily recognized by the fact that they turn black and start to rot.
