Donate a print, We will donate a dolar
    #16205794 - 05/09/12 05:04 PM (12 years, 8 months ago)

I posted this on our announcement thread a few days ago, but didn't really get any feedback - so we thought we would start a new thread.

Free Spore Ring Canada website launched last friday, and we thought a great way to get the ring off the ground would be to start a print donation drive.

So from now until the end of June every print that is donated to Free Spore Ring Canada, we will donate a dollar to MAPS (Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies). MAPS was founded in 1986 and relies entirely on public funding, they have had many great projects on the go including a new study into psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy in the treatment of anxiety associated with life-threatening illness. So if you feel like donating some prints to FSRC, know that it will be going to a good cause!

Well actually they do look for test subjects on different projects, check out their website for a full list of different studies.

I signed up for there news bulletin.

I have long thought psycadelics could help science.

imagine the thoughts Einstein could of had from a interspectual lsd trip.

or if hitler was given MDMA instead of amphetamines, maybe his charisma would have actually helped germans and made him a hero rather than the genocidal facist maniac.

maybe someday people with authority will realise "hallucinogens" aren't a high there an experience, a window or a morror perhaps to ones inner self, be that good or bad.

I have a stack of Ziploc's of prints I may never use, do they donate per package or per print?

was going to have a contest but I'm too paranoid.  :durrhurr:

We will donate 1 dollar per print until the end of June, we have put a few dollars aside for this donation drive and encourage people to donate through our site as well.  Keep the prints coming and hopefully by the end of June we can present MAPS with a nice big cheque.

Thanks for the support!
