I tried to make an incubation chamber and i found it at around 95-100 degrees...i took the bags out and I was wondering if it will still colonize?

How long were the bags in there? They're probably fine

They'll likely be fine, just let them chill at room temp, theres absolutely no need for anything more.

Incubators are old news. And if you're using one, I wonder what else in you teks might need to be updated. Couldn't hurt to post your plans and get some input as to the most current methods. These guys love to talk about that stuff. Even if it's all up to date, it's fun to talk about.

Thankyou! This is my second grow and the first one I didn't use an incubator and it went really slow so I wanted to try something new and failed utterly at it. Never doing that again gonna keep to the leaving on the shelf method.

3cc of spore water? Yeah, that's not ideal. Spores are potent, a few drops is all you need or want. And bags do best if you start them by grain to grain transfer, it's always sketchy with spores. Live and learn. It might still work out.
Meanwhile, score a PC at a thrift store and make your own grain jars.

Yeah, that's where everybody starts. Most grow past that stage quickly, you probably will too.

Hey, while we're at it, how do you perform your g2g bag transfers, Doc? I've done them, but not yet with bags, and I'm planning on it in the next 24hrs. I figure wiping down the whole surface of the bag with alcohol is the ticket, theres just so much more surface and crevices than a jar.

I tried it. But in the end....FAIL But I did figure out where I went wrong on mine. As I was doing everything in my glove box, I decided that the bags were to long and to make thing easier in the glove box, why don't I just cut the bag down past the filter This is where I F**ked up at And since the bags didn't get proper AE, They all had bacteria (and some cobweb). Live and learn. That's what I say. @ OP, we also learn through trial and error my friend. So I understand where your coming from GL to you though
