Reason for small caps on mushrooms?
    #1620247 - 06/09/03 10:44 AM (13 years, 10 months ago)

recently a friend has started growing again after having to stop it for a year due to living arrangements, first flush came out with small caps on. Friend seems to remember reading about this on here when they were growing last year but had quick search and couldn't find anything.

They seem to be thinking it could be lack of humidity which causes the small cap issue but not 100% sure.

Any ideas?

thanks

It could be inadequate air exchange.

started to fan 2-3 times day instead of about oncec every few days, caps are bigger but still not as big as could be/needed (spore prints) there is a small 25w lamp on next to the terrarium on 45mins of every hour.

Ohwell, maybe it is just one of those things
