Bfogg's 2012 Spring Fungi and Random Picture Gallery. (Update7-23-12. Alpine lakes wilderness) * 5
    #16195383 - 05/07/12 03:22 PM (11 years, 10 months ago)

I normally don't post most of my photos, but just for kicks, I'll be making a spring photo gallery of miscellaneous pictures. I'll update randomly as the pictures come.

--------------------
Having lived through an existence close to nature, one accepts the small and simple things as most important in life. Sun, wind, rain and snow. The sounds birds make, smells of fresh wild flowers. Love of all kinds, from friends and family, thy self and our neighbors. Beautiful sunrises to the darkest clouds dancing above in the sky. To forgive, learn, share and express. This is the only thing a man such as myself can ask for. What comes as the result is nothing short of the core of human existence, to truly live free in body and mind.

Thanks for the compliments. The last pic was my home for the last three weeks. Right off the front porch:thumbup:

It's not as cool as it seems. Out of three weeks, that was the only day it wasn't a constant downpour. Always blue sky under the tarp (makes me think of those allstate comercials about all the different PNW profiles, like the people at stop signs or the blue tarp campers:lol:)

Last one that I forgot to add

If anyone gets the chance to visit Washington and wants a local to help show them around, feel free to hit me up. I would recommend visiting the Hoh rainforest, driving over Chinook Pass, and driving over the North Cascades. If you have the ability (and are not afraid of heights) drive up to "Harts Pass" from Mazama (first town after crossing the crest heading east on Highway 20). Highest road in Washington (you can drive to about 7400') and you can check out an abandoned Cold War radar sight.

A few more.

The other side of this piece had a date stamp from 1903'. It's in just about the most rugged and hard to reach areas of the state, probably 30 miles in any direction for the nearest human being.

Looking towards Liberty Bell Mtn from Highway 20 (north cascades highway)

Fall, between about mid October to Late November. Sooooo many edibles, and endless psilocybes if you know where to look :yesnod:
