Jars are probably too full. Or contaminated. Or both. Pics would help. ^^^or a phone book.

That's frequently a sign of bacterial contamination. Or the jars are just too full. Healthy grains jars will break up into nice free flowing grains. WBS is a little stiffer than rye, but it will still break up easily.

I like two level cups of cooked grain in a quart jar. If they won't break up coming out of the PC, that's a problem. Properly prepared grain will easily fall apart into separate grains fresh out of the PC.

Check the moisture content of the grain before loading the jars could just be too wet.
gypsum may help as well...

Use more gypsum in your soak & don't rinse after the soak or Boil. If you rinse after your soak/boil, you'll rinse off all your gypsum on the grains. Therefore, you get clumpy grains.
Just bang the jars against your hand after PCing to redistribute the moisture & "declumpify" (yea I made that up) the grains.

yeah i rince after the soak after the boil and one time befor the soak.. I'm going to try and use less seed and hope it works... It could be the grain is not properly prepared but like i said i do the TEK to a T.. it might just be to much seed I'm going to put in less this time.. How much water do i fill in the jar, make it even with the seed??

What? No, no water in the jar. You rinse the shit outta your grains, then while they're in the colander Fill your soak pot w/ water + 1 Tablespoon of gypsum per 4 cups of grains. Stir that all up, dump in your grains, stir that up & let sit & soak for 12-24 hours. Bring to a boil in your soak water until al dente. Dump in your colander & toss until the exterior of the grains are dry.

As much as it takes to run your PC for 90-120 minutes. There's no definite answer to that, as each PC is different. I use around 5 cups of water for my AA930 for a grain run. My sterilizer (AA25X) only uses 2 cups of water.

Nope, no water in the jars.
I fill up the bottom of the PC till it comes just up just below the trivets at the bottom. You can fit 14 quart jars in an AA930, btw.

Yup, you can run your PC at 14 PSI, too. That way the toggle weight doesn't go off & you don't use nearly as much water.
