Coffee Bulk Question

I have a lot of coffee grounds that I have been saving, about 4 quart jars filled up. I was planning on just doing a steaming sterilisation for 90 minutes in a big pot, as I do not have access to a pressure cooker. There is white mold already growing in the grounds, will the sterilisation take care of this or is my substrate ruined?

sterilization would kill anything. But something about using contaminated stuff just seems like a bad idea.
You can contact a local coffee shop and they usually will, upon request, save their spent grounds for you. I had a big trash bag full from a starbucks near my house.

What do you do with the coffee grounds... do you soak your WBS with them?

Forget about coffee if you don't have a PC. Just follow the standard pf tek, verm, brown rice, and water. Do it right and your yields will be fantastic.

I'd suggest doing a little more research on the proper use and preparation of coffee. You do not want to STERILIZE coffee or you'll kill the helpful bacteria as well as the nasties, leaving the coffee a sitting duck for contamination. Want you want is to pastuerize coffee in jars ( there are different ways to go about this) in a pot of water carefully monitoring the temperature.
Coffee can be tricky, I do not recommend newbs use it. If you think you have enough experience and are ready to give it a try, then search coffee pasteurization.
