Bruise on mushy or contam?
    #16197846 - 05/08/12 12:07 AM (12 years, 8 months ago)

Yeah the image is huge but we often complain they aren't clear enough ;p

Hey y'all. After much searching I have no found any info on this topic. My cat snuffles had a cake that was bruised due to low humidity (I'm 99% it was bruise and not contam just in case it relates to the picture) and the mushies the came out of the cake were also had blueish spots. All the info I found would always be about bruised cakes, but can a mushy get bruised as well? I would imagine if the humidity was low they both could be. Refer to picture!

For more info: It has no smell, it doesn't rub off, nothing in that batch got contaminated and I never handled it but like I said the humidity in the terrarium did drop really low accidentally at one point 60%~ and some cakes bruised.

:laugh2:

its bruising, blue on the fruit bodies is good my friend.

They bruise where they are damaged most likely when they were picked.

Don't know much about bruising yet, but all my friend's dried mushies he's had sitting in a bag for months have turned that bluish color from rough handling. he ate them, and was fine. I think you're good
