Cause if it does not take a lot of time to be able to set it up and get stuff they i would give it a try if it will help incease my odds of not having any infections and getting a better grow
Come on man, for real? I'm not trying to be mean, but did you read the rules?

Look here. You'll find answers to most any question you might have. If not, try the search feature. Research research research. If the answers aren't there, THEN you ask.
It's only a big deal, because people like me DO use the search bar, and the more people keep asking the same Noob questions, the harder it is for me to find obscure info without wading through the million and a half What is an LC questions.
This isn't a hobby for lazy, impatient people.
Sorry, that's just the truth.

Yah man, use that search function, before I started doing any cultivation at all, I researched TONS before I made the step: laws, sterility, supplies and the technique used to grow.
There are literally thousands of ways to grow mushrooms, from putting spores on chainsaws oil, and sawing cuts into a tree and inoculating the tree.
You could use PF tek, yes or you could just go straight to monotubs. I don't think its really that PF tek is beginner friendly, I find perlite a pain, and its much easier to do a set and forget mono.
Just read everyday, I bought "the mushroom cultivator," "mycellium running," and "growing gourmet and medicinal mushrooms." I read all those books did a shit ton of reading on these forums and finally started, took about a month of steady reading, at it has paid off. Not a single contam, and great yields.
Good luck in the future man

That's what I'm talking about. But I made a "Use the fucking search bar!" thread, and the people there made me realise that not all people want to use the search bar. Hours of research and reading (I've been lurking in the shroomery for YEARS, literally) is the best way to learn before going hands on, no doubt. It can be argued though, that some people just don't learn that way. I'm sorry OP. I'll try not to be so fascist next time.
